Thanks for all the suggestions and feedback, love to see ya in here and hear from ya! I been. Looking at options for a drainage and damn that would be harsh being that’s their 2 walls and this is an inner built room . Lung room is packed right now, maybe someday ?
Funny grower story lol thing was when I first was getting into indoors I had to even carry my water hose from outdoors ( keep it indoors cause it woild freeze) house winter proof Fossett and carry it to my garage/growroom, in order to make this work without keeping doors open i drilled a hole in my outside wall than another hole into the grow room wall , had a pvc cap built in ( still there lol) and I would have to when it’s crazy cold ( grew only in winter ) and have to push a 50+ ft hose through the hole, have it not kinked and than turn it on and fill my rez. getting a winter proof cosset in here saved my life and it def was hell getting it here. when I installed it the ground was soo sandy inbetween house and garage everytime I hand dig the trench to its requirement it would collapse , I mastered it after god knows how many times with wood making temp walls ( wire/cardboard/wood) . Those things make ya happy once done and also realize it’s not that easy to be a indoor grower ( 300 amp service additional was also insane and I’ll remember that as if I didn’t have it . Damn I would be in a diff position )
another sad grower trial was when I tried to get hvac, I called literally 5+ certified hvac for lg or Mitsubishi and all but two in area were year + backed. Well I got one company to make a appt and I meet up that day. First thing this owner or a manger said to me was “ are you a Marijuana grower “ I told him “ yes but what does this have to do with my project, why are u even asking me that ?” Then he said “ min 7k install “ I did my own research before this on average cost per install and he was 2x at the time for that model. I told him he was playing me and trying to tax me for that … I wanted to talk more even thou he was being a douche and he then told me to leave . imagine if I would have got that project and that douche would of done to me on that.
Then I had very little options? Soo looked online and found these “ server/speciality room” a/c 36k btu , well it was 4K of cash and I bought it. Installed it in room ( thing is like 300 lbs lol) and took a whole row of growing to have it in there . Well it worked .. sorta, biggest issue ever new it woild shut off when it got too much pressure. than my room would get above 100f multiple times (pulse saved my ass so many times by telling and warning me the temps were above desired ) and it def fucked my cycle up. next cycle the thang was died and wouldn’t even function . Company wouldn’t back their product..that was 4K and time and a whole cycle fucked…. 1 cycle and it sucked for 4K? Man that was an ass burn. These walls made me stronger but also want the desired room I deserved ….
Sad but funny thing is I got so mad I pushed the server a/c outdoors cause it was using tons of room but the thing was so heavy it got stuck on first few feet on my landscape fabric and I couldn’t move it anymore. Stuck but at least it’s outdoors ( u can see it in my 22 outdoors pics lol
looked into other options, well the diy Mr cool gen 3 finnaly came out and a friend of mine had 5 of the gen 1 of 2 and he said they were just as good as the lg or Mitsubishi but the diy is legit and company is very good to work with so I’m so glad I was over there and he showed me those and gave me that suggestion vs bending over to those a/c companies before. More I researched I knew this was the hvac for me. I bought two 24k, if one fails = have 1 a/c to keep garden stable but also gives more balance in room. Ran 4 rounds fully and these Mr cool’s work insanely good and saved me tons of electric and headache. Never an issue but also a breeze to install . Live and learn but things like that are huge for a grower cause man when a product doesn’t work or have those issues in front. Your fucked , plain and simple
