In Bloom
Debated for a while before starting this but decided it would be a good way to "grow" into my lane in this amazing culture. I'm currently running multiple strains in various mediums and using various fertilizing methods and w bore you all with photos and updates of everything i have going on. However, this journal will start with its primary focus on 2 strains specifically.
Day 5:
First is Cherry Chem, this was a donation from @GCG through the Pay it Forward thread. The second is a GMO x Black Banana Cookies cross that I'm extremely excited about. All seedlings were started 8/26-8/28 by soaking in water and peroxide for 24hr. &moved into damp paper towels and placed in Ziploc bags. Once taproots sprouted they were moved into party cups in a mix BioBiz Light Miz/20% CoCo Loco/20% perlite. All seedlings broke ground by 09/02/2020While in the cups, seedlings will remain in a germination dome with an 18/6 light cycle under a florescent 2ft 17w t5 about 7 inches away and a 45w feit led 3 spectrum light with the switch on. At about week 3 they will all go into a "pre" veg-tent area set up under a 600w led at about 1/2 strength and about 2.5 ft away wut the Dane 19/6 light cycle. I will increase the strength slightly each day until it's at full power. Once i have the light at full power they will all be transplanted into their next home. I will run them both in their own Earthbox Jr. and will have a little compost and grokashi added on top. Barring any catastrophe they will both receive only water and EM1 throughout their cycle. Cherry Chem will be in the above mix amended with Nature's Living Soil which,if works as advertised, will make it "water only." The GMO x Black Banana Cookies will be transplanted into a bed of Coast of Maine Stottington Mix, which is also advertised as "water only" for the entire cycle. Both products say you can use "recharge" products occasionally, but i will be adding EM1 to the water and compost and grokashi every couple of weeks,so i should not need to. Everything else will be in the above mix amended with Dr Earth dry amendments or the Coast of Maine. Why so many different methods? If you tell me then we will both know. It's honestly because I'm new to this and like to try different methods, compare the results, and them pick which i like the best...orthodox???probably not,but it's the way i am....comments,questions, and concerns are welcome! ✌?✌?✌?
