You know I lean to the ladies, but IIRC, I have 2 crosses with male names: Pete Hutter's Stash [and relatives], and Big Smith.
I've almost used Tura Satana a couple of times, but while Fiona's Crack is in the 'classics' wing of the Brisco library, Mona Demarkov has been pretty much DOA at Great Lakes. How much does a name influence a choice do you guys think?
I do think the name can make a difference. Maybe Mona Demarkov is too obscure?
If so, then Tura Santana might not drive sales on the name alone....
Of course, it could just depend on what image Google decides to land the curious on...

As Absolutely ridiculous as it may sound I believe names do sway many many people..I've definitely been swayed away from bodhi because alot of the names..I'm fully aware how ridiculous that is however most of the time I'm buying something with the intent to make a cross and how could I make a play of my own name with that name...I know I know it makes no sense whatsoever but many times I've caught myself simply just not even checking a strain out because of the name..I do however look thru strains so often I eventually get to it but how many ppl are obsessed with researching crosses..Just my take on what takes place in my mind even knowing it doesn't make sense
One name driven frenzy that comes to mind was the whole "Mexican Death Sativa" release.
Instant sell out - probably even faster than the whole "Metal Haze" thing. (another great name)
Did anyone make the claim that "Mexican Death Sativa" was actually devastating? I think it was just a great name.

Got some testers of yours I previously grew tested, just for shits and giggles.
-The Black Albino came in at 18% thc and the Lemon Albino at 17% thc. I didn't get to test the amazing keeper pheno of the Black Albino because we had smoked it all, but that one would have been up there in numbers Both of my runs left room for a ton of improvement on my end, so the numbers are much lower than their potential
