I made it to the post office yesterday, and I'm pretty sure that I got all promised and IOU beans out. My memory fails at times, like an 8 cylinder with old wires, so if I missed anyone, I'm sorry, but I won't venture out among the populace until there's some resolution to the plague. Yesterday was like being in one of those 'end of mankind' films, but realizing it's not fiction. A 6 person line at the post office was out the door because of the space people were keeping between themselves.

I won't let this post be complete buzzkill, so I'm handing it off to Norm for some coronavirus stand up comedy. Of course it's Norm.

So...who's up for a contest? I've got one...and it doesn't involve me going to the post office.

Southern Oranges is Useful's Bag of Oranges x Sweet Dixie. As of yesterday [last time I looked] , it's one pack away from being sold out a second time [ much thanks DCSE and folks].
I recently harvested F2s, and also an f1 cross of Sweet Dixie f2 x Southern Oranges. I was going to call this cross Citrus Blast, probably using them for future freebies.

And so it occurred to me - these times need a distraction, a grin, a chuckle. Some of you may remember the quiz contests I ran last year where I judge / rate your answers to a bunch of questions. Many laughs were had [at least on my end].

So who's up for a contest? The prize? The winner will get to have their name immortalized in weed history, by having Citrus Blast renamed in their honor, much like @CoB_nUt and the soon to be legendary Cob's Copper Candy.

This contest, should there be one, is open to all who have purchased, tested, grown and reported on, or otherwise contributed [donated cuts / seeds] to the success of Brisco beans.

I have no limit on entries, but need a minimum of 7 [or 9]. Just copy this post and reply "I'm in!". I'll formulate the quiz and post it a week from today on March 30. Anyone not qualifying can still get in by picking up a pack of Brisco's at DCSE and PMing a screen shot of the receipt.

Sample question:

So...good news / bad news.

The good - I was asked to get a refill order together and shipped as quick as I could to DCSE, and it's sizeable.

The bad - I used the 'Citrus Blast' as add on freebies, so I won't be able to rename them for a contest winner which means no contest - sorry. [If y'all still want to do a quiz thing for fun, it can happen, but just for fun - no prize, sorry.]

It took two days for a background check to go through for the Beretta, so I had to go out one more time to the gun dealer anyway. One of my amigos in the valley has an extra box of ammo that I'll trade half a zip for, which is a very good deal indeed. I'll be wearing a mask, gloves, and goggles again. Monday, I saw no one else but me wearing protection. I was shocked.

My friends - leave nothing to chance; the odds are no longer on our side.

@2:30 - looks like Carly loaned her bra to Crosby, who hooties are not hotties, but he sure can sing. And Jerry Springer - who knew?
