Oh man, high school shop class. What a clusterfuck.

I laughed many years later when the trades brought in piss testing and most of the welders realized they'd never struck an arc without THC. Most of them started welding because in H.S. you could do hits off the hot welds and the exhaust fans took it away.

Hah! I learned to weld in high school when I was down in AZ but actually went to school for it later on. Some work I actually enjoyed doing, just couldnt ever stand any of the bosses at those jobs. Left the field, havent looked back. I still got my machine and everything I need to do it, I just have no desire to labor for others like that anymore. I do miss it somtimes though, then I remember when I was doing that I was jealous of the guys doing what I'm doing now lol.

Yeah its pretty dope. Its one of those jobs where you really gotta be good at reading between the lines, and taking no instruction as a specific instruction. ACtually some parts of it are awful and some are less awful and some dont totally suck. Other parts are okay. I'm gonna go to the skatepark on my lunch break tomorrow.
