I prefer regs but but nothing wrong with fems especially if your space or plant count limited
I have been strictly regs for years because it is natural. I’m pretty sure even now the clones I get are from feminized seeds maybe back in the day they were not. They were from trusted grow ops in the area. The way of keeping a mother plant is slowly going to the wayside according to the nursery workers I have talked to ?
But at least with this round I can see the difference if there is any between fem and reg seeds and get a “guaranteed” harvest. The second round will be all regular seeds.
I did come across some male only seeds from Norstar Genetics. One can only assume if they can make feminized seeds they can make male seeds as well.

Love regs as well. Don't f*** with those genes, they're perfect. All 5 of my supposed reg seeds grew female and I required a donation of pollen. All good because I'm in very good hands here
Well, all of them have sprouted 8 fems and 4 regs. I’m going to plant a few and let the journey begin. I tried a new led in my tent, it’s pretty legit, I returned it to get upgraded from the company the anticipation is killin me. The resin production is really phenomenal haha given I have only grown a few clone to harvest a handful of times. If all goes well I am going to try to clone the shit out of these fems and regs ???

There's absolutely no difference in the end product with fems vs. regs. It just takes the guesswork and the added space needed to pop regs out of the mix...and puts more female plants in your garden. I grew only regs beck in the day...before there "were" fems available....but I was always one of the lucky guys who'd buy a pack and pop it and get 9 males and one female. I was a tester for a popular breeder when the fems first hit the market.. It all blew my mind....and I haven't grown a reg seed since...15 years now or more. I should...cus I have a buncha "freebie" shit here that are regs (from fem seed purchases...go fucking figure). Just can't work up the nerve to do it...LOL.
Cloning is the way to go for production. No moms. Space is better used making flowers, IMO. Just take cuts from the veggers that are ready to go into flower about 10 days prior to putting em in 12/12....wait til they root....toss the "moms" into flower...rinse..repeat....over and over and over and over and over.... As long as you clone/wait for roots/make sure the next gen is online... the game goes on as long as you want it to.

I guess my main concern is that the pheno is being chosen for you which is good in many aspects, it guarantees females and crop, but I guess it’s knit picking what if situation. “What if this one phenotypic expression would have given this cross the one trait it was lacking before.” Also how feminized seeds are created is still somewhat of a mystery to me, but from what I have read, it says to use colloidal silver.
