Yeah my plants outside see that basically every year at least for a bit. I kind of feel like the genetics play a role there; Cheese strains, and Chem D, I've not ever had an issue with unless it was brutal out there, but a Sativa leaner that took forever to get done, almost died. It's the one time in my growing life where I almost lost a plant, but she managed to pull through long enough to finish.

On the other hand I'm totally ready for Spring, and not learning the freezing point of snot each morning.

I remember harvesting a plant about 15 years ago with snow half way to my knee..Random plant came up by my front porch..It started getting big quick so I replanted it out back.. Didn't much care about the plant at all because because end of October she wasn't close..I was certain it wouldn't finish..Looked like a average size Christmas tree..It's was damn near January when I cut it down..Still all clear trichs ..Smelled like straight lemons and was actually pretty good smoke haha...Almost a lb of wispy bud..Some tough ass plants..Gave that stuff away to anyone wanting it..Untill a buddy that claimed it was the best he had in awhile..well he left with all of it?

These plants are tougher than we think sometimes; Shit when I was shaking snow off Motor Breath, I was surprised it didn't damage her haha.
