I watched our Navy at work when we assisted a Collins class submarine berth in Geralton , Western Australia a few years back . Was hilarious . They’re so set in their regimented ways .
One stood by our line fastened to their bits ready to chop it with an axe if shit went down . Somebody failed to tell them new technology and super high grade synthetic rope you’ll need a chainsaw to cut through our line that can take a 220 Ton safe work load factor . If you hit it with an Axe it’ll just bounce off probably recoil back into your head lol

Always room in the boat mate . Don’t forget your live bait hooks . We like fishing for the big stuff . We don’t pick on the maternity ward fish like Pike etc ?View attachment 167035
Pshaw, anybody can do that stuff from a big ship.
I'll be impressed when you catch a shark from a belly boat. :devilish:

That’s not a stupid idea mate . I’ve watched them do that in Croatia with large Northern Bluefin Tuna

It's my go to defense of hooked into something bigger than me LOL. I don't think I could eat enough Spinach to actually try and hold on, and pump a shark that size. Now if it was smaller.... Sure, if I can turn that head, I can drag the shark in, because they can't generally swim backwards, making it a wee bit easier to do. I mean it's a Shark, not a Catfish LOL.
