Right? All my pieces used to have names. I should start again so I'm not like "hey babe, have you seen the little spoon? No, not that one, the blue one. No, not the solid blue one, the blue one with like, a little yellow and the beads, ya know??"

Welcome aboard btw! I keep thinking about changing to living soil but haven't made the leap.

waht do you for nutrients ? organic of course - here are afew that I use: Elemtental nutrients / Peak Harvest /Roots organic and Alaska fish fertilizer all very good products (can get samples of all except alaska fish. Elemental nutrients is Myco based with a excellant bloom booster ___________________ My secret is "Soil Balance.com" it's even better than Mammonth products

It really depends for me on the situation. My no tills never get fed really expect for chop and dropping foliage and cover crops

and when I’m in containers I typically topdress the same nutrients I built the soil with. Usually DTE amendments. Kelp, alfalfa, crab neem are my go to. I never really think in terms of bloom or veg honestly. Lol it’s all biology to me. Love watching plant dictate it’s own nutritional needs. Mainly I really rely on homemade or highest quality ewc and maintaining slightly fungal dom soil by top dress malted barley powder.
