Nice and you said there were three other companies mentioned? I'm certain I missed them but as long as their not using knockoff parts, that's cool.Jag just posted up this in a different thread
You need to get something here..I seen 3 things in 60 seconds you could use..

I got my Mars tent off Amazon, should be available. Also ordered direct from Mars Hydro site and no issues either.I was hoping to find it on amazon what with its superior drivers or whatever. I dont even want go through ebay lol.
And good advice it has been. Not speaking to just you here but ALL of the information I gathered here was enough to steer me away from a bad light or even a good decision?. Say what you want about any light but wherever I go, I'll most likely do a complete loop back to the MARS HYDRO TSL 2000W lol.Guys ? All I gave was advice and links and nothing but that and even compare videos .
The user can take it all he wants but I never bullied or said it’s the only way
Ofcourse it's not. It's under 300w but still more than I ever come to own. It’s not really 2000 Watts
I love the fact you're honest about it..And good advice it has been. Thanks for the solid input Gentleman. I came to figure the same thing about the HLGs emphasizing the fact that I did my research? which is why it was suggested to me I get those, and a few cheap red strip lights to give it the kick it needs during flower. Well those are mostly my own words.I haven't used a Mars light yet, but they just sent me one for free so I'm about to set it up and see what's up this weekend. I do have a couple Spider Farmer SF2000s (one of which was also given to me for free) and have had good results. The new one is WAY improved over the old one. But the price has also gone way up over the last few years.
I also have a couple HLG v65 and to be honest, while I like them for veg, they are awful to flower under. Just not enough red spectrum in the 4000k. I love that they are assembled in the US, but they're still using Korean and Chinese parts. I'd love to try one of their bigger lights but I've never had the budget, and honestly if I did I'd probably buy a timber anyways.
My favorite QB board is the one I assembled myself. I just bought a kit on eBay. It was cheaper and more powerful than the Mars or the SF, but it did also come from overseas despite the seller listing themselves as stateside, and it took forever to get here. Grows some killer buds though.
Final suggestion is to check Craigslist. I just found out there's a couple guys building COB grow lights in my area for very reasonable prices. I may try one of them out soon. I know I could assemble it myself but every time I start a parts list I get overwhelmed then lose interest lol.
Personally, I still prefer HID over LED, and my struggles with colder temps are reinforcing that this winter. But for a closet like yours I think you'd struggle with heat.
I don't think you can go wrong with any of these lights these days. Even Mars reputation has improved in recent years. Like @Capt's Farm said, in the long run, just buy a light you can afford and rock it till the wheels fall off. You can always upgrade down the road when your budget allows.
Sounds like a healthy plan , let's see some fire ?Thanks for the solid input Gentleman. What do you mean? Would I need to buy two different lights?you do realize he said not enough red in a 4K version? Thats the veg version and they have a 3000k version that has the red lol
U can just get a 3k that's what I like, little more red than the 4kWhat do you mean? Would I need to buy two different lights?
