Hey y'all. UrbanHillbilly here.

My plans for the next grow are slowly shaping up. Gotta get another legal grow authorization in place, that might take a couple weeks. I am rather space limited with two small grow tents, a 2x2x4 and a 3x3x6.

I decided to try an auto this time around in the small tent and decided to order a few Candy Floss – Sour Diesel auto seeds from Copenhagen Seed Company. Hoping they don't take too many weeks to arrive at my doorstep. I'll probably crowd the 3x3 tent with a few plants. I'm loving some Vanilla Gelato I grew last time, but I only have one fem seed left and they're hard to find anymore. Might grow that out and take clones or might wait. I also have some tester beans that are Ogre Kush x Banana OG I've been wanting to grow out. They're regular, not fem, so I'd have to pop a minimum of 2 or 3 to try for a fem plant. If none happen to be fem I'd just try again next grow, and if all are fem, then everyone has to get a little extra cozy in the tent. Have a few others on hand as well, but I have a little time to firm up my plans.

Sounds good man :) you going to document your grow on here?

Is Vanilla Gelato super creamy? I've only had Gelato #33, and I've always liked how creamy that is.

We'll see how well I can do on documenting it. Pretty sad statement considering my career was as a tech writer.

Yeah, I'd say the VG is nice and creamy. Very smooth and pleasant. I've been thinking of getting one of the other gelato strains, at least if I can't get my hands on some Vanilla Gelato seeds. I did track down a place in Canada that has a couple packs left, but they won't ship to the US. So frustrating.

We also got a little Bubble Monkey out of our grow that we like. Sadly, that grow was a disaster because, among other problems, I totally blanked on a male in the overcrowded tent until it was too late and both those strains turned into bud/seed bombs, but we're still enjoying it very much.

Tech writer huh ? I di that Freelance for a few years, writing articles on Computer and Network Security, and every once in a while, some documentation.

That VG sounds pretty epic man :)

I did it for quite a few years, mostly as a contractor. I almost always worked for a different agency, just whoever had a gig at the time. Gave me a lot of experience and kept me on my toes as I jumped from one industry to another, and both federal and state gigs as well. I wrote anything from manuals, to disaster recovery plans, and creating classroom courses for state agencies.

That's what I had in mind even while I was still in college. I wanted to challenge myself to keep learning. What I didn't count on was getting cancer and the drugs I've been on for the past 13 years have had a bunch of side effects, including the creeping effects to my cognitive abilities. My analytical ability and memory took a modest, but very perceptible hit. I lost enough of my edge that I knew I couldn't justify my rates anymore, I couldn't perform on what I considered an acceptable level and on top of that, I was tired. But I can't complain too much because enduring all of those side effects has allowed me to still be here in the fight.

I think you'd be pretty happy with Vanilla Gelato if you get a taste. But even if I can't find more seeds, there's an endless string of other great strains.

Sorry about the Cancer bro, that sucks. I did freelance stuff for a while, which was honestly not a bad setup; I'd spend 20 - 30 minutes writing a short article on setting up basic firewalls and protections for whatever Operating System I was writing about that day, send it to the editor, and get my hundred bucks and call it a day.

They had a few other areas available that paid better, but not being a programmer, I didn't even try those ones LOL. Those were like 800 dollar articles from what I was told. i no longer work in tech much, other than the usual "My thing did stuff, can you fix it?".... LOL. Makes me miss the days of Windows 98....Take a screen shot, set it as the wallpaper, and remove all the icons. Stopped most users from destroying the file system at least.

Finally getting my feet, umm, I mean beans, wet tonight. These were a gift from a friend on another forum. Ogre Kush (Krink's cut, you might have heard of him if you know folks in the PNW) x Banana OG F3. They sound tasty, so I wanted to give 'em a run.

In a day or two I'll also start a Candyfloss auto I've been planning for this round. That one should mature faster and it will reside in its own little tent.
