Homegrown's Meds

I love that you did that for them bro.
I was pleased to be able to help them out. The family members are not weed folks, so I was kind of shocked, but not really when they asked. The man has never had any cannabis before so I was sure to write detailed instructions about dosage, time until effects kick in, etc. I'm really hoping it synergizes with his pain meds, it should provide more relief and hopefully give him a little appetite.

I have people in my family that would really benefit from Cannabis that won't touch it. A cousin is on heavy painkillers and thinks weed is "drugs" *sigh* so I'm glad you are able to help bro.
It's good medicine for just about every problem man has. Before it's prohibition, I believe over 60% of all pharmaceuticals contained it.
I use to frequently experiment with drugs about 20 years ago, but can honestly say weed is just a strong herb. Though selective breeding we have enhanced every aspect of it (thc/terps etc) If you smoke lavender you will feeled relaxed, same with sage and other terpy plants.

Yeah Linalool is in Lavender and apparently has shown to help people who have it need less Opiates after surgery and whatnot. I feel like the Terpene Profile of Cannabis can help quite a lot for many different ailments based on which Terpenes it has in it. I honestly can't thing of many reasons why else certain strains (And families of strains for that matter) would help me out so much VS others. I mean all Weed can get you stoned, but some Weed can get you to not have to see a Doctor quite so often. Cheese family and Chemdog family, are the ones I've had the vest results with to date.

Ripping the new 5 foot bong this afternoon. I thought these were just a gimmick or party pipe, but I'm absolutely stoned out of my mind. After getting my technique down I was able to clear it several times in a row. You can burn up a half gram with just a few rips. It wouldn't fit in the trunk of my car so I had to open the ski slot and stick it though there lol. It's nothing special, just a tall acrylic tube, with a downstem, and a slide about a foot from the top so you can easily light it.

Bob's Bitchen Chernobyl Slymers. Transplanted these into 1 gal pots to veg for a month.
COM Stonington blend with 1/3 extra perlite for a little better aeration. 20220906_095345.jpg A light dusting of Dynomyco was added to the rootball area & watered in with a little Greatwhite. I was out of my normal seed starter (Sprout Island is the shit!!) and started these in Espoma. It compacted too much, even with lots of extra perlite, and caused a couple of them to become stunted. I'm hoping they will take off in the veg mixture.

Bad lighting tonight. Day 23 since 12/12 flip.
Smackerz (top)
Smackerz tall Sativa leaner (middle)
7 Hills (bottom)
Little flying fucks of all sorts have been eating at my leaves. White flies and stink bugs. Only happens in fall when it starts getting cool outside. The crack around the A/C unit is the culprit. The UV-B should help knock the bugs down once I up the dosage.

When it starts to get actuality chilly here, the bugs normally slow down quite a bit depending on the actual temperature; Sativa leaners don't seem to like the cool weather, but the others don't mind.
The bugs slow down outside here, because they have all come inside lol. It really shocks all the wildlife, we go from deep south heat to New England like weather in the matter of a few weeks. First really cool night and the whole house will be covered in lady bugs looking for a way in. I've already got the little pre fall hunting spiders roaming my tents. Those little guys are welcome. They like to hide under my plant containers and ambush anything they see. This black racer has the best spot on the hill, and helps keep the mice, chipmunks and wood rats in check. Where he sits is on the top of cliff face and he can be on a mouse below in just a few seconds.

I wish we had some of those around here. I got beat for every last piece of fruit this year. (Squirrels) Peaches , plums , apples and pears . There's only so much I can do because I'm in the city, but I'm going to definitely put some snakes in the tree. Hopefully I can find some realistic looking ones.

I have a friend that grew up in Western Virginia, it's funny because the heat DOES go crazy there, and then it's freezing rain and snow time lol.

Sucks you're in the city; Buggs Island Blue Catfish in a moat would keep pretty much everything else away from your plants, but doing that in a city would be uh.... LOL.
