ID?

We got a response, but Bark lice? Does she think that the picture is a nymph? I would expect to see wings on a "bark lice" that size. There are some Psocoptera that do not have wings but most have 2 pair of wings.

Psocoptera is also called tree cattle and they will usually herd up into bunches. Above is a picture of bark lice with adults and nymphs herding.

They don't jump however. Which is an easy test for a springtail, does it jump?. I'd check for jumpiness and also for the herding behavior.

I agree. They definitely do not herd together and I have NEVER seen anything resembling the adults. I’ll try to find some more but and make ‘em jump

@BH This is a first for me...and I see it with my plain eye...Lil ID help🤨 View attachment 182482
looks like aphids, being there’s 1000’s of known species ( like many bugs , aphids Aren’t just aphids ) I dont wanna “cement” my Id of what species. it does look like “cannabis aphid”l which is a pest that like many other bugs that are attracted to Certain family of plants or species. for example look at hemp russet mite also, its so in love with cannabis it’s a mite that will even eat ur buds vs regular mites that focus on leafs as their energy/food.

I will do same thing and email evergreen and see if they have a answer /confirmation.

Well when ya put it like that makes me not wanna kill em😂Can't blame em💁 For real tho I've never battled aphids..I do remember seeing these on a house plant years ago, One them rubber plants like a giant succulent..I use Grandevo, venerate along with regalia, peppermint Castile soap, rosemary oil..with some yucca..that's beyond been sufficient..will that kill these bastards ???

I’m preety sure it’s aphids but key is knowing 100% it’s that and want to know if it’s some special family of aphids that needs special sop/IPM… please chill out , the key is pest pressure and confirmation of what bug it is. reason is the ipm and also the schedule of when you have reapply ur defenses is key. Also aphids if you don’t have a 100% sealed room or u brought em via medium or plants it only takes one aphid to start the pest pressure. Meaning they are born pregnant but also based on temperature their birth rate. It’s like so many pest theres a reason why no one has killed them off permanently off the earth. key is like any pest/bug is knowing the Id but also having a good sop/i[m for the pest if known u have these bugs in ur region. aphids are super common and crazy part is they even at least for cannabis are pheno/terp attracted even in veg stage. I have seen aphids like other pest be attacking a pheno and than have no interest in plant next to it in the sog

if aphids pressure shows any or even mild you need to change the IPM to knockout ( like many pest) , key with just preventive spraying is promoting no bugs but also deterring them. since u see the bug in your zone it’s there, is this plant indoors?im assuming this cause if outdoors the pressure of bugs is always yes like mold on based of sop/IPM since it’s always gonnea be there. even so scanning for bugs like you are is one of the best soo/IPM u can do but also making sure the bug isn’t a actual issue but also knowing the exact species.

your doing great and key with all of this is if pressure arises to know the mode of defense changes but also making sure if knockouts and attacking certain pest it’s best to have multi tools and also knowing their weakness and best knockout things to do against em.

Sorry if you don’t want me to flash ya a golden ticket IPM but withoit confirmation I’m not gonnea blindly state such and also show sop to something that could be wrong. im trying to give you legit information vs blindly saying it’s this or that.

evergreen might be away for weekend, I’m sure if they don’t tonight have a confirmation by Monday

till than spray a mixture of Grandevo or venerate and wetting agent and regalia if u haven’t in the last 7 days, do you have botaniguard 22wp?if this is aphids that’s gonnea be one of the best biocontrols for them mixed with ethier Grandevo or venerate ! just don’t buy that till we get confirm

Not a sales rep, with all products check around on prices! Arbico is kinda pricer per se in many products. last time I got some I got it at hydrostore cause shipping cost made it cost more than local. key is if local to check for expire date ( some hydro stores don’t sell as quick) = 18 month expire from date on bag

np bro!

I checked many times for a email from evergreen, if I got some extra time I’ll email again and I’ll also email 2 other bug wholesaler/IPM based and see what their expert states as bug ID. I even stated like any other email I’ve done if they didn’t like the pic or needed a diff angle/zoom to ask plus u also stated what plant it is, like many bugs or pest it’s good to know that also and to state a IPM . So glad hemp is legal now hehe

Spent a few hours. More like 5 haha cleaning everything up and spraying everything down Thoroughly.... Venerate!.with a few drops of cinnamon and peppermint oil lil sal suds....I'm not seeing a lot of these bugs but visible upon a few plants very easily....narrowed down where they came from I believe, as those cuts had the majority....Washed those off upside down under the faucet before spraying EVERYTHING... hopefully it don't become a issue...Feeling like as easily as i can wipe out spider mites these days im not gonna trip over these...Lil bastards got there work cut out for em they wanna fuck around here
