Insert catchy title

I’m really hoping to filter myth from fact so I can act with more confidence. I want to cook, not just follow a recipe.
I’ve been lurking and reading so long, trying to sift through trolls and bro-science. The fact I’m an over thinker is no help, lol. Then are are the legitimate opinions that conflict or contradict each other. Makes it difficult for a novice to stick to a plan. Pretty sure, this is the place for all that. In the meantime, if anyone has a down and dirty, quick guide to coco, I’d appreciate the direction. I hate to make a drastic change at this stage in my learning, but I think it may be time. I’d like to switch to blumats and seems I’ve found coco to have the more positive reviews if not using a “supersoil “- correct me if I’m off target. As much as I love hand watering ever other day, my time is needed elsewhere.

As life’s duties have ebbed momentarily it has provided a chance to explore the site more. Let’s just say I’ve got some reading to do before I ask too many questions that already have been answered. I appreciate the time donators have spent sharing, as much as I do the information. -recent experience has emphasized that shit happens, life can change on a dime, and being alive isn’t always living. Give those you love a hug and tell them, time is really all you have -don’t waste it. In the end thanks for sharing yours. Peace all. Grow on.

Welcome!

I think one of the things about soil, especially packaged, is that there is so little nutrient in there that by the time you reach mid-flower, you're treating the soil like coco anyway. Especially in smaller pots.
At least that's been the case IME. Right now I have so much Fast Purple in a 3-gallon that I have to saturate the pot to give her enough juice to make it through the day. That said, I still think my soil-grown bud tastes light years better than @RookieBuds coco-grown reggie:p

Looking forward to your grows!✌️

I appreciate your feedback. It validated some of my speculations. The coco comment was in context of blumat feedback only, not coco in general, I’m sure your comment is still accurate, I’m just pedantic. I’ve considered supersoil (again) but kinda committed to jacks for awhile when I bought 25lb bags,lol- now my budget is a barrier. I did one of those, up and quit a toxic career before I was supposed to- some things are worth more than money
