I found this on Google maps. We've been camping there twice.

We used to call it "Skull Island"

Until one time I got really brave and stupid and took our trailer down to the river bottom.
We couldn't make it back up the soft clay hill on the way out ,had to call for a 4x4 rescue

That patch of vegetation on the right would be the right eye of the skull.
The white dot in the center of the photo is our camping trailer, feeling shame, camping by itself.


Here is another beauty, and this one is only a few hundred meters from my house.
I wonder if Council knows that some smart ass landscaper built them an AphexTwin duck pond ?

I have this Theory,,,
Folks is always talking about stretch.

Perhaps this is because of the familiar pattern of flowering immature plants. I find nodes 9 through 12 really start taking off. I watch my plants closely and when they become mature enough they seem to stretch themselves under 24-hour light.
