I think the name of spinosad should be changed to spino-happy, or maybe spino-death slayer extreme? 😂 just a thought.

I have never used spinosad outdoors. I have always heard that it is highly toxic to bees, BUT it should be less so after it has dried. It is definitely effective stuff for sure though. And caterpillars can easily decimate an outdoor crop, especially by leading to bud rot etc.

The garden is looking lovely brother! Positive vibes...

Thanks man!
Yes def bad for bees from what I understand. I've heard of two ways to apply it. Spray it & forget it or spray it & rinse off 48 hours later. Always at dusk/dark tho for bees & burn safety.
This application I'm going to go with the spray it & forget it because if I can I'd like this to be my last spray, but if I do have to do round two I will try giving a rinse & share my exp.

Butterflies are great but man do I despise them in worm form. I am all too experienced with amazing looking colas full of rot & shit. Such a bummer but that's part of growing outdoors sometimes.
I take full responsibility for spacing on spraying the spino-slay earlier tho. Forbid had kept EVERYTHING else at bay & got me into a false sense of bug security.

Beautiful fn day today. Washed the scooter & took er for a little ride 😊 my old bad fuel pump situation a few months back turned into a bad connection situation after I got the brand new pump installed & had nothing the next day I tried starting it. Something was going on inside the oem sealed epoxy terminals under/thru the tank that give the pump power (I thought this was really weird). I ground the epoxy down & just kept wiggling the connections & checking for continuity until I consistently had it & then reapplied epoxy over the terminals. So far so good.

Saw a video the other day that stated modern day dragonflies are successful in catching their targeted prey over 90% of the time. Pretty scary to think these things were at least the size of our heads back in the dinosaur days & probably still over 90% successful... dinosaurs being pretty scary too... I feel bad for those geico cave men... man, stoned thoughts 😂
