I've had an influx of ring orders lately. This is some red oak with a green pearl coat applied before the clear. Thought it was pretty cool looking.

Week seven, normally I'm on my last full strength feed but I was off by a week from the start with the 3:1 feed:flush ratio, so just some base nutes today to keep em fed. Not much longer now til the chop ?

When I'm not smoking bowls,
sometimes I'm making bowls.
This is Chinaberry with some epoxy added to fill the larger voids. Mineral oil & beeswax finish. Still need to clean up the bottom but I couldnt wait to go out & see it in the sun.

I like to stand & trim & these mats make it possible to comfortably stand in one spot for 10+ hours. Double stacked I can't even describe the feeling of comfort with how much squish is under my feet, maybe like a really dense waterbed full of cold gear oil ?. They are a little pricey compared to Hf pads but at least 10x better quality, I've had mine for over 5 years now & the only issues are where I dropped sharp heavy tools on it like a dummy. I wont work on a car, or in any stationary standing position without em. Can drop to your knees from standing position on any hard surface & not feel a thing thru the mat ?
