Hmmm, not sure because my postal scale only goes to 12 lbs but it is heavier than the one going to brokehoe @ 11 lbs. If I had to guess I'd say probably about 5 lbs heavier.

I had it in mind to replace an old 400 watt MH in an old 2 x 3 tent - remember the ones that had plastic fittings in the corners that got brittle and broke? You wouldn't believe how much twist tie and duct tape is holding it together, so I wouldn't trust a + 10 pounder not to collapse it.

Honestly, it probably wouldnt work too well in a 3' tent. The measurements are 36" without the pigtail cord coming off of it. Plus the corners are sharp and under negative pressure the tent might get damaged on the inside from rubbing etc.

I do however have replacement corners and connectors if you are interested in those?

The funny thing is that I've got a replacement tent still unopened in the box, but have let 2 more bloom cycles proceed instead of tearing the old one down. The MH hood and bulb probably weigh less than 2 lbs so no imminent danger of collapse. I really dig the 1 lb mini Mars Hydro LEDs I'm testing; two in a 2 x 4. If all goes well I'll probably replace the MH w/ 2 more of those down the road. I just hate piling up all these CFLs and HIDs - you know how it is....I resist scrapping anything that still works, but I'm working on it.

I do -all too well....which is why I had those corners to offer lmao
