I'm kind of feeling things out over here too. First time growing them in this environment. I have tubs with 6,4, and 2 holes going. Atm the tub with 6 holes is pinning like a mofo, but the others aren't looking to shabby either. I'm getting much more consistent temps and it seems to be helping pinset. Are you using polyfill? If you think you aren't getting enough FAE, you can decrease the density of the polyfill. I planned on doing the opposite if my tubs full of holes was too much lol. Yours looks colonized enough that you shouldn't have to worry about opening it too though.

IME when you start seeing a lot of those little white dots, they're the start of new pins. Looks like they're on their way. What is the strain btw?

Blue Mags from Docs Dank. Fast come up and very reflective in smaller doses. I haven’t gone full bore with them yet

I've grown those out a few times, they're a good one. I have his blue mag white cap going right now, should have pics of fruit in the next couple days. First time running them for me, but I like the pics I've seen.

Nice. I wouldn’t mind trying his albino teachers or albino Louisiana cubes. Illusion weaver and jmf would be cool too

That albino louisiana is on my list for sure. Those just became available to us that didn't have the hookup. Looks like they yield well too.

Fingers crossed. I don’t have the bandwidth for much mycology work, at the the material prep. I need to get some pre-poured agar plates and some pre-sterilized grain jars.

Do it man. Just being able to keep some cultures that you can put to agar, LC, etc, is super handy and saves money on spores. Mycelium is the gift that keeps giving ?
