Yep, what GCG said. But the Hyper Cherry Magoos are hybrids of two different strains and my understanding is 2 Scoops was a F1 strain but I could be way off on that.
Yep, exactly.F1 is just first generation of a cross. If you took a male and female of the 2 scoops and bred them it would be F2. Breed two of those offspring its F3 and so on...
Ok I see now. But if I crossed 2 hybrid strains(strains with two names) will I have still grown F1s.F1 is just first generation of a cross. If you took a male and female of the 2 scoops and bred them it would be F2. Breed two of those offspring its F3 and so on...
If they were 2 different hybrids yes it wouldstillbe an f1. But if they are the same hybrid mother & father then you would have an f2.Ok I see now. But if I crossed 2 hybrid strains(strains with two names) will I have still grown F1s.
Yes. Thank you. Now I finally understand Fs lolIf they were 2 different hybrids yes it wouldstillbe an f1. But if they are the same hybrid mother & father then you would have an f2.
Np @Sammy Snakeskins .Yes. Thank you. Now I finally understand Fs lol
I would say they're f1s unless Srenots has them marked f2. But to answer your first question yes that would be a f2.Ok two last repetitive questions. If I crossed the Reno donated strain(Magoos) with each other straight out of the gate, I will then have F2s right?
And are the Blue Magoox Hyper Cherry Pie seeds F2s?
If they are marked f2 then the corresponding offspring from parents of that seed would be f3.But just wait a cotton pickin minute sirs... If the Magoo Hybrids are F2s, wouldn't that make their inbred family offspring F3s?
Yeah Im going to do some field research to find out that very question. If they are marked f2 then the corresponding offspring from parents of that seed would be f3.
Here's a good read for you on it.Yeah Im going to do some field research to find out that very question.

Basic nomenclature of cannabis genetics
It is not rare to see novice growers wondering what IBL, BX or S1 mean. While they may seem useless, these acronyms give plenty of information when we know their meaning. In this post we tell you some basic concepts of cannabis genetics so you can fine-tune your choice when purchasing seeds.www.alchimiaweb.com
We're on break atm.
It happens alot here. Lmfao.
Welcome to the show, pop some and get in on it. ???
Just started a few days ago. 4/20 start, Oct finish, 024 weeks time frame.
Nope, no deadline for that.My Mind Chocolate Trips are struggling. One popped and is in soil the other is just sitting there. Maybe needed some scuffing. Not giving up yet but may need to wet a few more. Is there a deadline for dropping seeds? @JL2G
