After gardening this morning...I got to thinking imagine a life without this wonderful hobby. What would I do in this crazy 2020 year of pandemic and upheaval.

I would have probably got bat shit deranged is what would have happened.

Yet another reason the herb is good. It calms my mind and body. And then everything else becomes relative again.

In all fairness teas, foliars and fulvic make everything veg better but these are pretty crazy.

SCJ is the last of the thrip problem. These were fixed during veg....and then they were sprayed weekly with IPM to keep them gone. Soil is going out in the pile.
Even with that considered...i know these are bigger than i was getting. And its only getting better from here.
SCJ and Mephisto both chopped and hanging in my dryer (a 5 foot tent that is now a dyer). This freed up a light to spread around somewhere else.

Also....with a lot of help from some dudes at Phenos...i got a really good used Nikkon 20MP camera. I have to shrink them to get them uploaded but....the pics are about to be worthy of the cultivars.

As I ponder life and the universe this morning...and my spot within it...i thought about how things changed so much this year. I have learned more in the last 12 months than any preceding year since i learned to walk.

And retirement...well that is how i retire. And I am pretty sure the learning...is ....escalating..

all things...not just growing...But of all the things I want to learn to make artisanal bread (starts today) and grow cannabis...to my liking.

It took a paradigm shift in my being...I was a mod at a forum you might know...i was getting dragged down in stuff that has no bearing on growing weed.

And I want my forum to be about growing weed. My hat has been hung. I live here now.

thrips changed my life forever. IT was so depressing and i felt like i could not grow...emasculating and horrifying.... and then JJ sent some stuff about organcis that put me on the path...and my crazy took over.

I have to do things right...or it keeps me up at night. So now I grow right.

Life is good.

Organic super soil....3 feet for 66 bucks which is standard here for KIS soil...BUT i will take 15% off of that...

I got 2 X 3 feet of this....couple feet of perlite and coco. I think im good for the forseeable future (90 gallons of soil mix on standby).

One was a male...but one is a female. I figured it was a stud so i put it in bloom in 2 gallons and balls....the 5 gallon one is a girl.

my favorite of all of my products is the jadam wetting agent i made (and the recharable sprayer)

I wash my plants 1 or 2 times a week...they come out all clean and healthy.

Its good for the plants...i add some silica and often use 1 gallon of 50% tea and water with the jadam. 2 oz of jadam wetting agent in 1 gallon of that tea/water mix and 5ml of silica.

Its bad for soft bodied insects...thrips and gnats can not tolerate it and do not build immunity to it.

being active in my garden was what thrips taught me....and now suck it thrips..

I just keep IPM going.. This morning everything smells so lemon grass.....I saw something that looked lke a thrip shit...but it was enough to say BRING IT

So they got it...
