admitting fault is how we all grow in a positive way! I know exactly what you mean by giving up after a grow. Ive been messing with Purist indica for awhile now and I am finally getting hints of the funky skunk smell the last run. She needed a higher sulfur content and a little extra epsom salt here and there and she is a solid funky ass girl. But..Id never dialed that in being a one run and done.

Ive been getting some clones from a greenhouse in the Carolinas that grows clones for several large companies like Humbolt and Brothers Grimm.

Sulfur is one of the ways you bring out the Thiols that make Skunks smell how they do

Yes, I've been experimenting with pretty good luck. I cant swear that's what is getting me the skunkier smell but something is working...lol. I made feminized seeds of the skunkiest two girls I had. I just pooped some of them, so we'll see if it's genetics or nutrition. I preserved the bud extra well this last time with my Cannatrol. So I'm also thinking that I preserved a lot of the thiols and trichomes more than usual. They were cut and immediately placed in it.

well yeah....

so i informed the vender which ones didnt make it? they emailed back and said it was "user error"

i emailed back and explained how can it be user error when my sucess with rest of batch is 100% every cut and jsut because they look fine day 1 doesnt mean shit, from freeze to heat a plant doesnt instantly show those stresses and many times ive seen plants shipped rooted or not be fine till 2-5 days later... thats straight up laziness and lies if you cant accept that. i payed less because they dont spend so little enegry to make it and buyer should be able like a rooted to get their cut resent if its obvious the plant died because of shipment. its noones "fault" but when costumer service instantly blames.. thats when it pisses me off and i even went ocd style and tried my best to de-stress the obvious stressed phenos. u could tell the ones were like that by leafs being wilty day one and absorbing the water like they didnt have anything....

sorry for rant but come on, i did a good job even explaining at day 4 there was wilted/obviously not gonnea root because of such and way too short cuttings so how is it gonnea even root. i know i wouldnt of took a 1 inch cut and sold it...

Email them if it was me and demand it . Shoot it’s prolly they are getting a rooted clones but come on keep people in the loop. if I was you make sure to take day 1 pictures and if u see anything wrong demand reship. I guess that’s how they got me by saying itll be okay on reship and I waited to give final result and it’s all my fault? w/e what cheap fucks

i hate to sound sour when I got sucess from them but when u burn someone over clippings on a almost 1k order? I was even willing to rebuy the ship cost np and wasn’t blaming anything or anyone. they want to come at me like I’m a shitty grower and can’t clone? Shoot I prolly make more cuts than them lol 😆

Update, well the vender agreed to re-ship me my requested failed plants, he just needed me to pay for one clone. better than nothing and I can see why if it was me i prolly would get sick of people if I sold clones. Prolly so many “ messes up” and requests for re-ships. Big differences for me is I made sure to baby em, log it and even email him daily the status of health . It wasn’t like I was talking shit or requesting things I didn’t have. I’m not gonnea bitch about buying one clip ( not one I own yet) and that gives him enough energy tore-ship

Well they arrived Wednesday , let the clips sit in r/o water + SABF + 1/4 npk aka clone soluction

24hrs took cutting, has anyone had sucess with cuttings without a node to use? This vender sent out long cuts but the challenge Im having is there’s zero node to use ( less than an inch from toP?)

it’s sad cause even the purchased one is like that, nice looking clip but here’s no nodes to cut….. pisses me off cause I’ve lways ruled a certain standard for a healthy clip for a clone. just saying if I cut it at the node it woild be a inch tall and be a midget….

every clip that sucked last time looks same way aka stessed and leaf wrinkly. biggest issue i have is the clips are way tooo short , man thats not how i would do the clones . If they were tooo short at least be honest and i would of even suggest or choose something else. Just obvious when pver half of his cuts are “worthless” to my standards aka min 4 inch from cut node to top.
