Operation "Keep the wife out the damn dispo"

Can't keep wifey out the dumb ass dispo so she leaves me no choice...Picked up some empty carts. Good ones! Had about 8 grams of multi strain shatter I wasn't using and a few grams of trim kief I pressed..Melted it down on low heat and mixed 10:1 with pure ethanol...Headed to the freezer a couple days for winterization..

Fats and lipids separated rather quickly but I did leave it in the freezer a couple days..Ran it all thru siringe filters...Already cleaned up nice so far

Ran it in a pan low heat 100 - 120 f for a few hours to start condensing it back to oil..popped it in and out the vac chamber a few times

Tomorrow I'll fine tune this in the vac as she's getting thick...Run a mini jar tech for a bit and into the carts she goes

These seem to be top of the line far as carts go...All ceramic...This is my first time cleaning up oil to go in these...The main purpose for this thread is for pointers and tricks of the trade... Eventually I'll just be pressing bubble to make these...

I was very shocked upon reading how bad the Waxes ,fats and lipids in the rosin was... Winterizing the rosin really separated a gooey wad of nasty shit that actually looked like animal fat...the closer I got to it the harder it was to push thru the siringe filter..Chucked the Wad in the trash ..That Shatter wasn't top shelf and the kief rosin i pressed was pretty dark...Now its light amber oil that i can see clearly all the way thru..Ill finish it up tomorrow....Its under vac all night and im hoping that it doesnt get much thicker....If it does tho i have some GSC terpenes that i can loosen it up with...Hoping not to use it tho....the oil already smells like dank sweet bud and those added terpenes can give a harsh throat tingle...Tiny drip only..Ive put drips on joints before..Super strong pinene terps

And this bad boy works extremely well..Go slow it will erupt your oil up out of the container it pulls so hard...Doubles as a tool the wife uses to pull bubbles out of epoxy art resin also

Pretty dang simple now that I've been thru it and was actually surprised just how well it works ...This oil looks and smells immaculate 💯

Yes it literally pulls the alcohol out of the oil....After the oil is slightly heated 125f putting it under vac tremendously lowers the boiling point....The alcohol comes out as a gas...You can then let it escape the chamber and revac....but yes it will distill back down to alcohol liquid and collect in the bottom off the chamber a little bit

Nice work. I been looking for a project to use my old vac chamber for. Maybe I will try this sometime.... For now I'm just gonna get my girl a lil device that vapes rosin, and have her a pre-load ready in the car at all times.

It's extremely frustrating to me that my wife has access to multiple strains of endless supply and still goes to the dispo...but she only wants carts... Figured hell why not I'll just use the extra buds and make carts and make em better than what is sold at the dispo...She's also a weed is weed type except for the real side of sativa genetics...(don't like big boy smoke hahah) I can't even ask for a smoke report....The answer is ALWAYS....Its really good im really high..,Well hows it tatse....."Like weed" is always the answer...So fucking spoiled its ridiculous....She's never even had the pleasure of picking out the sticks and seeds or even seen brick weed....The life of marrying someone lots of years younger is a struggle at times

Great thread. I can identify with this lol. The weed is weed thing bugs the hell out of me because I’m thinking how the fuck can you NOT tell the difference between your $7 shake 1/8th and some fresh well grown herb. Sometimes I try to be nice and take a rip of someone’s shitty weed and I start coughing and almost gagging and my wife or homies will think I’m acting. I’m like hell no that shit sucks.. don’t ever buy that again, here’s a bag of some real weed.

Word of advice on that...Buy big heating plates and a good press..Ide give you this small dulytech if you lived close. It works phenomenal but the size of the plates😳😳 plan on spending hours getting a few grams..I couldn't even imagine using this with a shoulder issue or anything...it's a work out
