What is it that ya don't like about the Stardawg? Which cut do ya run?
The Cory cut. Was continuing to push white pistils meaning there is always an unripe top. The top is a place for hormones to collect, hormones drive the production of the good stuff. IMO to focus on the tops is to focus on quality.

IPM Foliar Botanigard 1t (scant), Pyganinc 2t, Vinerate 1t, Thermx70 2 drops diluted in 1 quart.

Soil drench Botanigard 3T (rounded), Vinerate 3T+, Regalia 3T+, Thermx70 1 glop diluted in 3+ gallon.

Everything but late flower got the full foliar, late flower was just lower stems and undersides of leaves. Sour Special Sauce was taken down before, Tropicolada kept cut will come down in a few days.

I'm kind of stoned, but, are you saying that after it was in flower, and going, that Pistils were still coming in ?? I may well be reading this wrong, but I've never seen that before personally. Man no wonder you're letting that go. Not like Jenny huh? That you just stuff in a bucket and walk off.... LOL

Had a few like this , def a bummer
Maybe it does better under different lighting, mine is a bit blue. I'd like more red but the leds just don't burn out and have only seen the replacement cobs I want in a 50 pack.
I've honestly not run across that before. Damn that is sad though, I've always wanted to try Stardawg, but man trying to crop that out, without a top being anything like it could have been...

Or a different schedule 11/13 vs. 12/12

Distraction had its way with me and I flubbed the second Bluberry Muffin @Amarok , over dried. Gonna try a few outdoor along with runtz buttonz @HBZ and modified pigs @Deebs I'll start a thread when they hit the dirt, hopefully this afternoon.

Got the recycle timer installed on Mango Biche clones yesterday so today is day 1.75 of 10 on 8 off.

Need to get the Afgaan90 boys up potted too. I really liked how the single pot worked for the Mango Biche and am gonna do that again.

The second Tropicolada is getting close to chop at 8 weeks, just as floppy as the first. I would say these have been above average as far as aromatics during the grow, not sure if that'll translate to anything. They are above average on stickiness too.

GG4 and CnC both look like they are carrying beans from the herm Sour Special Sauce (which needs bagged btw). CnC might be ready in a week (week 7 now) but more likely 2. Gonna try to get GG4 to 10 weeks, knock on wood no anthers, this is when they showed last run. It's a bit non-standard because I went from 11/13 back to 12/12 when the Afgaan90 got moved in, we shall see.

Add a couple infrared bulbs..makes a huge difference and ya only run em for the last three or four hours of the light cycle IMG_20240419_101715.jpg

What's the spec on those? 50W? Mixed monos, something like 650 and 720nm? I used to run red and far red and that definitely has an ability to change the morphology of the plant. I had a bit of a fire scare though when the cooling system failed so I harken back to the simpler times of single source lighting.

Im not currently running them but I was running one in each corner...Aiming them differently pretty much daily.. definitely a difference...I'll get em back up sometime...Along with the UV
I have a couple of the Hortilux 2 foot t5 red/far red leftover, when using those they didn't seem to put off enough compared to the leds to make much difference. The mono leds I had though definitely caused some stretch. I was using vertical lighting at that time and the branches just grew right over to them if they were on full cycle. I ended up doing several different schedules with them, on before lights on, off after lights off, off during mid day. Think I landed on 30 min before lights out to 15 min after lights out. Also had uv going at the same time and would let it go a few minutes longer than the red. When the cooling system failed I took it as sign things were getting too complicated, lol.

UV/deep blue has some potential for pest management I think. Blue to lure the pest and uv to degrade knockout pesticides.

I noticed some plants just can't handle the UV light i have.. Couldn't run it long. Some plants would be bleached out on the tops..Some plants tho it would literally double thicken the trichs..Uv is definitely plant specific

IPM foliar yesterday Botanigard, Grandevo, thermx70 all but deep flower.

Tropicolada 2 came down yesterday on day 59 starting to digest sugar leaves more than I want, probably a fee days early. Got the clone of No. 1 on the chopping block today, gonna give it a shot after tokin' on Grapesmac 2 this morning. Yesterday GM cut right through the tropicolada smacked it down, if TC can make the comeback it will be spared.

Ask me, it's tough on all my delicate flowers. Lol. Such a fine line makes it tough (er) to grow variety with quality imo. Between the options I think t5s are still the way to go for uv I've got agromax and hortilux versions and 10K finisher from agromax as well, there's another called actinic white that does blue and uv. I did the cutter led strip with uvb and c and shenzen monos. Tons of fun and many lights baking it in now hopefully it getting more durable, my Growlight Austraillia boards were quasi prototype and only lasted a couple years, the cutter strip shenzen stuff even less.

Can't bring myself to advise people do it but, I'll watch from here.
