This is my "contender" she was flipped a couple weeks ago and will likely finish indoor, sorry guys plans changed, I might do a fall light dep.


Same number of nodes as this one but about 2x the spacing.



The entrant is the most aromatic plant in the run so far.

I realize my window for spring light dep probably should start in may, I can hold the temps ok, but will need to add some supplimental light for those days when the coldframe has to be tarped. I think what this will allow me to do is take advantage of the natural sunset and just leave the cover on till they hit 12hrs dark in the am.

My entrant is in a 2gal and will stay there, no reason to go to a 5 gal at this point.

This week they got a dose of microbal mass and top dress 2-8-4 Gaia Green Bloom was added (1/2 cup each container).

The one i thought was a male...put it in a 5 to see, it fell over when the dog pawed it and lost its centre cola. But if its a girl i can let it ride all summer and see what happens.

All are going to get jadam sprayed in 5 minutes.

So mine got stripped down and is ready for some action. she is gonna get a top dress today and tea in the morning tomorrow. In total I got 8 females from 10 seeds. Most have move on to others but I have one to tree as well.

it has 12 cola arms...I like that The Dirty Dozen. It was not by design, except what he plant made my hands do. And the weather has been very good.

It wasnt insect frass, i added some bloom booster au natural Fishbone Meal 4-13-0 with the 2-8-4 and worm castings. i can foliar feed them some seaweed juice when they get past the stretch.

I love soil growing and every time I order soil i end up adding some cool new thing i never tried before. The last order i got fishbone meal,Soft Rock Phosphate, Soy Amino Acid Soluble and Zumsil Silica Monosilicic Acid.... Buildasoil videos are helping me figure it out.

its way more fun than bubblers. And sometimes i screw it up. Like the innoculant...super fancy 8000 spores per gram i got 17 grams and i cant find instructions ANYWHERE (and if i had of thought of the mycos jordan, is the same stuff G) but no....it was only 20 bucks i put it all in the 45 gallon planter.

All I know is the plants that went in it shocked into growing fast.

136,000 spores....oh i have to.....its almost gross...

Skunky VA in week 6

Both have 10 nodes the and some berry on the nose. The taller one is more woodsy and sharp, not really tart but pungent.
The short one could have used more initial pruning and a longer veg with training. The taller one fits better with the rest of this run while the shorter one gets pushed to the corner.

So....i have this tray of cherry slurricane poillen and if i touch it POOF....and yet none of it will capture on anything but my clothes...

May 24 until June 12 is 19 days.... So I took it out front and made it rain cherry splooge all over the skunky VA.....Cherry Skunky YA !

So I have been slacking a bit, colicky baby is eating up time. Didn't get to train like I wanted but that is hpw it goes some times, I picked one that smells berrry/hashy. She got a hard topping at the 6th node and trimmed off the bottom 2 branches. Also uppotted to final 5 gal bag. I will get some pics up later today.

Ooh you got a good one there. I had one of the berry pheno's when I ran them, it turned into a grape jolly rancher smell, and grew medium height, but with big beautiful buds.

The shorter ones that showed up had mostly fuelly funk to them, with a spacy body stone. Only one Berry pheno, and it was a favorite, with a smooth clearheaded high you could puff all day. Just rock it out kind of buds. ???

Friday update. Frost and mass are really building. The day before yesterday i hit each put with fish bone meal, gaia 4 4 4 and gaia 2 8 4, and worm castings
This one smells like a hash berry and is not seeded.

This round up here is the BEST round for a light dep. Next year i am doing it again in 7s. The sun is at MAX POWER.


This one is seeded with In House Black Cherry Sluricane. This does not smell like hash...it smells like like sweet berry weed.

Skunky VA light dep
She is still exhibiting a strange leaf curl. I know it is something in her soil mix that is off. She is the only one of my light dep girls that got the new no till mix I have been tweaking. Oops. Some of the individual leaf fingers are corkscrewing. No burn still growing fine besides that. I need a better tablet, camera on this one doesn't take good upclose so it is hard to discern.

I had at least 2 instances/sources of light leak. My ac infinty controller has a blackout function that I did not activate at least twice durring the run and more severely I left the port cinches undone for a couple days several days ago on my veg tent that resides in the flower room.

2 sacs and a premature bean were found on my "non-comp" plant. I have not yet identified any other effected (or is it affected?) plants. Given it is at 54-56 days and there is at least one amber trich per field of view with the scope, I am chopping it.

Mostly gas the shorter one seemed more berry, its been hanging for a few days. This one will probably get the axe at 70.

Day 47 of 12 12 more like 11/13 now...the sun is not right on them first thing in the morning and it will help them ripen faster.

They got their last feed of gaia a mix of 4 4 4 and 2 8 4 with some soft rock phosphate and fish bone meal



The tan pot is more of a nitrogen whore than her sister.

Buts are FAT and stacking.

Day 40something? she is getting hammered by thrips, they came en masse with the heat waves. Spraying and nematodes were useless against the hordes the heat brought. The buds are unaffected filling in nicely and smelling good. be glad to have this light dep run finished. I am ready for some fresh dabs.
