I love the almond ones, probably more than the peanut, but I only see the smaller bags here and I shop bang4buck so the peanut wins. The rest of them, peanut butter, crunchy, pretzel... just don't do it for me.
ET phone home!
If you get a chance to try the almond M&Ms they’re bomb AF. I haven’t been able to find em lately. Also those crispy (?) M&Ms. But for some reason I just can’t get into plain M&Ms
I didnt care for the almond ones much, peanut and PB are my jam. For a while they had the combo bags that had both and plain. I actually dont mind the OG M&Ms either.

The rest of the flavors are just nah. Had some mint one from the M&M store in Disney though that were decent, just cant see eating a whole bag of em.

Subway ?, I'd search out a Jersey Mike's , Firehouse subs or a Quiznos if those still exist ?
Jerseys is pretty good. They’re neck n neck w Firehouse but I do like how Jerseys cook up the meat right there in front of you. It’s like a Vegas action buffet lol. Almost all of the Quiznos in my are have all but disappeared. Only seen one joint. They were pretty good but kinda pricey even before all this inflation BS.

I cant get down with Jerseys either. Better than Subway, but being that we now all know my feelings on Subway thats not saying much.

Its funny the things we take for granted though. You mention Jerseys cooking in front of you as a unique thing, but thats just how half our local sub shops are here. You stand there, leaning on the counter, while some person a few feet away slaps the shaved steak on the grill and listen to them whale on it with those big metal spatulas before they season amd cheese it (and add the veggies and salami if you got a bomb like you should). I didnt know that was unusual until I started traveling and realized most of the country doesnt even have steak bombs at all, never mind a sub shop making them in virtually every single podunk town.

Im way off track on snacks at this point but if anyone is in MA or ever comes here, get a steak and cheese sub at TC Landos or its sister store Carl's. It will change your life. The Giambotta will put you in a food coma for a week. But only ever get the steak and cheese subs, everything else is bunk.

Many years ago I had a traveling construction job and did some work in MA. I still remember getting "grinders" for lunch. I had no idea what they were, lol. They're called hoagies where I was from. The little shop we'd go to had the best bread, like little torpedo rolls, fuck those sandwiches were tasty! It's the only thing I remember about that place! Well, that and the beasters, haha.

Great now I've got another "don't look great" moment to share:

Long before the Lindt Chocolate disappearing act, I once grabbed a bowl and Microwaved a bowl of Chocolate bars and grabbed a spoon.... I ate the whole damn thing too.

We had The Hungry Hobo where I grew up. In the 70's it was all about Hungry Hobo and Happy Joe's pizza. Hungry Hobo sandwiches were soooooo good. The last time I had one was 2001 and it wasn't the same.

I haven't had Subway on the regular since 1992. That was when my boss at the time introduced me to the burrito pastor.

I wish I had a Trader Joe’s closer by. They’re in the big city. They always had good stuff at reasonable prices. Sprouts is good too. Now Whole Foods, while they have some good stuff, you can come outta there w half a grocery bag and pay like $300 wtf. Whole Paycheck lol
