Snowy season run!

So I decided to dig out and run my indoor set up after being tucked away for five years. It’s now legal here in MN, and as far as I know there are no dispensaries yet except on the Red lake reservation. Getting acces to good quality variety around these parts isn’t that common yet, so here I am again growing my own. I’ve collected a few selections of beans from the past, and recently from some awesome seed vendors here in the states. The tent is just a 3’x3’ that seems to meet my needs for now, the past grow before tucking it all away went great, just got busy and moved on to other things. I had 3 plants prior to this start up, Seedsman gelato OG, peyote critical, and acapulco gold from Barney’s farm. I never documented any of that grow but i believe I ended up with somewhere around 8ozs final product with a 260w samsung quantum board. This current run I ive got 4 plants going so far, fem sweet seeds-cream caramel cbd, fem phoenix seeds-good shit, and two reg kokua seed-toys in the attic. I still have past gear from Seedsman that I decided to use here in this grow other than the two generous kokua freebies that I got from JBC. Running oly mountain and the new dominion blend from build a soil, had great results with them prior. There’s a two week spread between the small and large plants, had a few germination issue. The oldest one is the Phoenix GS, smallest is the sweet seeds CC cbd, the little CC got shocked almost died but she’s showing a come back, the two in the smaller pots are the Kokua TITA. Im definitely excited to see some new plants again!

Nice startup mang. Looks like you had a pretty good setup stashed away for a rainy day. Awesome your back at it now. There's another MN grower on here as well, grows some pretty awesome plants too.

Thanks, yeah I managed to round up all the necessary items all from Amazon back then. I stopped using Amazon about three years ago now due to them allowing an unknown charge to the tune of about $400. They took no responsibility and wouldn’t divulge any information about the fraudulent charge, turned into a long drawn out mess with me fighting to get my money back. So now I like to frequent smaller local businesses any chance I can. All the grow gear was stashed away because I was frequently traveling the US for work a few years back, It was hard to maintain a grow when I was away. I did manage to automate most all of it to eliminate some stressing while on the road. I just recently acquired a simple little Wi-Fi Govee humidifier to also help maintain my grow. I kinda knew the seedlings were running on edge hovering around 50% humidity. I now have that issue corrected and can monitor and control the humidifier via Wi-Fi. The govee thermometer/hygrometer links with the humidifier for an auto targeted setting. I also like the low pressure low 5 volt watering system with an integrated timer, keeps things simple and easy once they are all dialed in.

Going on week five of veg I believe. All have been topped above the sixth node. I'm thinking I'm gonna take a few clones from the two bushy smaller ones (Kokua seed, TITTA) because I'm not sure what sex they are yet, and I really don't have much info on them. The stem rub has a very interesting tropical thing going on. I'm a bit confused on the structure of them as they appear as narrow leaf on a reference photo and mine apper to be a very broad leaf. They are supposed to be Flambe x Lilt and I haven't come up with much information on either of those two.

Getting ready to flip all 4 of these females, they are all right around about +-7 weeks now. Little guy was a runt, it's cream caramel cbd a synthetic veriety from sweet seeds, so not sure if that is why. Had a little light burn goin on that I had corrected, its been awhile and didn't realize the 260w HLG quantum board was that capable. The driver has a small potentiometer that is pretty touch and go.

Been on a flower cycle 5 days now. Had some slight leaf tip/leaf edge yellowing, found soil ph to be a little low @ 5.0-6.0. Lightly flushed soil a few times, now run off is back to normal.
Ive only given them some kashi tea, and a light bottle feed before flip. Topped soil with build a flower, and small dose of craft blend right at flip, should be good for awhile with minimal feeding hopefully. I also used oly mountain B.A.S. mix on my last run years ago, and bottle fed my plants only during flower with good results.
This will be my first time using their recommended soil amendments during flowering stage. Tap water seems to be working just fine!

These females are still filling in the 3x3 space, I believe I'm overcrowding a little. Fed them some fermented pumpkin extract liquid, smells exactly like drain pipe sludge🤢, stink in stink out Is what they say I guess. Soil is lively with plentiful action, benneificial soil mites still doin their thing breaking down organics. F#10 20240103_213118.jpg 20240103_213138.jpg 20240103_220305.jpg

I'm a couple days past week three of flower. I was away for a few days and discovered that one plant is a hermaphrodite. It was a female photo seed I got back in 2018, (Good shit by Phoenix seeds). Balls, Just gonna toss it and keep on goin! The other 3 are doing just fine. Very few sacks dumped pollen, but I'm sure I might end up with a few hexed seeds. I do recall seeing an odd formation when this plant revealed 6 weeks in veg, but always showed as female. I guess the take away is that I should be able to spot this easily from now on. The plant started to oddly stretch at the bud sites the last few days, and flowers seemed wispy.

Beginning week 7, they're bulking up a bit and putting on some frost. Pics are of the 2 similar t.i.t.a plants with slightly different flower expressions. The rub is very pineapple forward, ripe peach also comes up at times. Oddly these plants barely smell other than a slight dank/old fruit oder. One pheno has yellow pistels with spear shaped colas, the other has some pink pistels with round colas. Two bottom pics show this difference. 🍍

I finally harvest these 3 plants, they were over 12 almost 13 weeks in flower. Stopped feeding around 3 weeks ago, they were eating up all the fan leaves. I believe the lower temperature was slowing them as well, 72f day and 65f at night. I spotted a few amber tricombs and decided that it's been long enough. All buds looked good and healthy, just lots of yellow dried up fan leaves. They'll now be going back in the tent with the humidifier set to 60%, should work out with my basement temp at 65f.

^^^ This was the one small cream caramel cbd plant.

^^^This is one of the two Flambe X Lillt, aka toys in the attic from Kokua seed.

A couple more pics of the second t.i.t.a. plant I finished up today. I did a wet trim on the other two, it jogged my memory on how much of a stick mess it can be, so this one is gonna be dry trimmed. The tent is doing well holding 60% at around 62-65f with a small automated wifi humidifier. I got the variable exhaust fan on its lowest setting pulling negative air from the floor to keep the fresh trim humidity spike down. 1000004597.jpg 1000004598.jpg
