My tablet is about done it is a $49.00 wall mart cheapie that has no flash & takes horrible pics I was gonna buy a with fi \ Bluetooth camera to load pics onto my tablet I can't afford both right now I'm looking at a Samsung galaxy tablet A5m-t380 that has 4-x zoom as well as a flash that fits right in my budget has bluetooth\wifi & android I would like to hear from anyone using this or something similar & your results I can add a camera later if I had to thanks in advance

Fer sure

Tablet prices will jump if they accept a SIM card 4G, LTE , Etc

Also you will pay a premium for an AMOLED screen. An LCD display will always carry better value.

LG has lower resale values. Excellent second hand choice.

Runs andriod 7.1
Is 2017 model. Samsung update support is 2 year.
Prob no updates available. Simply means newer apps wont work.

Good machine. Aging. Just dont overpay.

The 16 GB is the only one that said has a flash I don't store stuff or do uploads I just browse & post pics & order from a few places the flash &4x zoom are my main concern I'm really wanting to improve my pic quality

I'm retired & coffee , sharing my grows is a morning ritual the problem is I can't post the color , frost or any real detailsbof my plants the quality of this camera is just too poor I've tried every option this camera has a flash option makes a big difference I had a larger apple i-pad it took better pictures but had no flash either

does LG make one with a camera flash? I was gonna go to best buy & find one with the features I want then get one cheaper from e-bay or amazon cheaper

It seems like a lot of the tablets don't have very good cameras. Only the more expensive ones do. I think even the cheapest phone in the last couple of years could probably take better pics than the most current "midrange" tablet. No need to hook it up to cellular service, just use wifi. Something to consider.

That's a good idea.
Before my daughter had her own cell phone I'd let her use my old one with no service just to play games on the WiFi.
We'd even blue tooth them together to play stuff.

Even an old iphone 5 is excellent for pics, the 6 is even better because it has the camera upgrade but still holds great value. I don't have an apple but when I did for a work phone it was really smooth.

I actually think I might have an old Samsung note 3 with a decent protector case and everything.
Takes pretty good pics.
If it'd work for ya @horribleherk if I can find it I'd just donate it to the cause for you.
Battery was still good and everything.
Awesome Jesse way to show the love. I think it would be perfect for herk. He seems to be looking for an all-in-one solution so no need to hook up a camera to a laptop, etc. which really is a PITA. Herk, Jesse's got the camera phone, I'll send you a few pHenohunter stickers you can put in your backdrops if you want ;)

Note 3 has excellent camera.
Huge Premium Amoled display.
Replace that battery (pay at least 30) ; or @ least charge with the back door off. Batteries returned to service have a really bad habit of swelling and cracking the (very un-flexable) screen.
Note 3 was a hot ticket. The screen exceeds the value of the phone, and everything else is replaceable.
