I thought there was a thread on seed storage and vaults, but I couldn’t find it. I found this subcategory and figured it was a good place to start! I was accumulating quite a few packs and had mentioned that I needed a “vault”. Not really understanding, but still lovingly and caringly, my girlfriend purchased a Pelican for me for Christmas. She got one for a cell phone and pocket things! Lol. Well, after having made quite a few orders last week, I figured I had better upgrade. Just got the Pelican Storm iM2050....should be plenty of room for future purchases and I think I may use the smaller one for things I don’t anticipate on popping for a while. Can pack them in there and throw the whole case in the freezer!

I use a plastic double stack locking snap top with o ring seal from the kitchen section in Wally's and keep in the crisper in the fridge.

I'm using one of these for my sealed packs... it even has a compass in case I get lost in my grow room....

For my own chucks and loose beans all the generous souls here have sent me I repack them into essential oil drams and store them in totes made especially for those bottles.

I saw your grow of the Don Juan, looks amazing! What’s the smell/flavor profile? It’s gonna be hard to get that in the rotation with some of the fire I have coming in.

Gassy chem , it's dank af , huge yeilds and I get absolutely smashed. It's staying around for a while. ?

I use half gallon jars to store my seeds. My lady recently gave them all an eviction notice from the refrigerator (I had both crisper drawers full and then some), so I bought a mini fridge for the collection. Lawd give me strength. Positive vibes...

I put them all into labelled vials in a container in the fridge and then save the breeder packs and original vials etc.

It’s very rare I keep a pack sealed..

@MO_Grow and @Gentlemancorpse ..... I clicked the link that you posted at $12.95. It’s only $9.95 now......I paid $45 for the Pelican and they didn’t include the foam as advertised ?

The small is $9.95, the large is $12.95 (its still pretty small).... but yeah, I started looking at Pelican and Otter Box since I use their stuff for the boat, but that price tag is exactly what steered me towards this....

I may need to get a second one soon, getting kinda crowded now lol

I really need to upgrade. I use an old tevana bamboo box that i slapped up with stickers. I can't really fit much more in it. and it is a disorganized mess. But the box sets off the fire alarm on occasion.

I use these they are $7.00 US for a 50ct and then I just repack all my seeds relabel them with my label maker and seal the crease of the container with the label. I can’t trust my kids for shit cause they are so young and love to get into the fridge so I keep them in a dark cool drawer in my bed room. A mini fridge sounds like a future investment. May have to talk to the fiancé about that ASAP

Update: girlfriend called Amazon customer service about the missing foam. Apparently it was not supposed to have foam and instead of exchanging it, they said they will refund the money so I can order a different one. When my girlfriend asked about returning the one we have, they said they have no interest in getting it back ??‍♂️ Foam isn’t that important anyway....my vault just became free ?

Amazon has been doing that a lot lately. I wound up with a free Air Conditioner cause it showed up unassembled and the housing was beat. They refunded my $400 and didn't want it back. I definitely beat the metal back into shape and learned how to assemble an AC instead of buying a new one lol
