Couple seeds popping after 24 hrs of germination. (Acapulco Gold x Michoacán) x (Acapulco Gold x Michoacán). All from the same female and same male.

After 2 1/2 days of germination. A little wasteful here but I wanted to check the germination rate. Temperature has been kept around 74f +\- with a heat mat and thermostat.

Put 10 into soil. All 10 have popped up. I’ll eventually get rid of some.

Finally got them all numbered. Some are starting to run out of food so I’m either going to add a dry amendment or up-pot. I think it’s time to put them into 1 gallons. It’s been a while since I’ve grown in soil but I felt these would do better with it. The parents did ok in coco but I couldn’t dial in the nutes and it just felt wrong growing something like this that way.

Someone grew out some of the seeds I made from the other female. He shared this and thought I would post it here. I’m growing seeds out from a different female.

I finally got all the seeds from the preservation vacuumed sealed. Hopefully this will keep them preserved for much longer.

I don’t have much soil so I had to cull some. I kept the ones that reminded me more of the mom. Hopefully I picked at least two females Maybe I could have held out until they showed Oh well, let’s see what happens. Too bad there was only one male when I made the seeds.

Wow man, I realized today I may have the same issue. Usually just go grab some compost from outside but it's buried and frozen. I'm going to let them in cups as long as I can before culling any. Have 8 of 17 sexed and enough soil for 12 maybe. Might be alright. If I would've just stuck to my original planned count of 8 fems wouldn't have this problem.

That's how I felt when @Skunky Dunk Farms turned in the Authentic Genetics Skunk #1 Preservation!

Came in at 1lb 3ounces

Wow man, I realized today I may have the same issue. Usually just go grab some compost from outside but it's buried and frozen. I'm going to let them in cups as long as I can before culling any. Have 8 of 17 sexed and enough soil for 12 maybe. Might be alright. If I would've just stuck to my original planned count of 8 fems wouldn't have this problem.

Yeah that sucks. I just realized I probably could have got more soil in a few days.

Yeah I was surprised to say the least. It was my first time making seeds. Heck yeah that looks like a successful preservation too! I have 36 of the AG Skunk #1 and really wanted to pop a few on this run but I decided to wait until I had more room and resources to do a preservation. I love that I found a place where people love preserving genetics too!
