Chef Dave's finally steering a Ferrari 🏎️

Got the big room harvested, sterilized, lines descaled and sterilized, added double net scrog posts to all beds, I decreased each beds plant count by 10 per bed, so on the (2) 9 x 4 tables 18 plants and the 10 x4 21 plants. Switched from 1 gal fabric bags to panda film plastic bags and 100 percent coco instead of 70/30 coco perlite. Each plant now has 3 ea .5 gph woodpecker cnl drip emmiters for better medium saturation with micro shots . Plants are day 1 and day 2. This run will be way easier than last due to dropping outside temps here in the mid Atlantic. The flower room 2 I burnt with uv lighting I was testing and forgot to turn off, half got bad damage, half got medium damage. But they will recover. I installed second net on this table it is at day 25. The 2 pics of flower are day 43 suge bright and juicyjayzPXL_20261003_023050493.RAW-01.jpgPXL_20261003_023117529.RAW-01.jpgPXL_20261003_021134393.RAW-01.jpgPXL_20261003_023342319.PORTRAIT.jpgPXL_20261003_023320837.PORTRAIT.ORIGINAL.jpg

what UV lights were you using? the pure UV tubes from htg or newer LEDs? I melted my leaves on one grow from those pure uv tubes by doing the same thing: forgot to turn off. lol

View attachment 247230Pushing this bed hard generativally, overnight dryback increase and high vpd to stop stretch. I'm running out of comfortable top of canopy to overhead lighting space.View attachment 247231
I like the side lights. Something I’m definitely thinking about incorporating. Years ago when I grew, I just take a light and put it on the sides. I don’t really have that kind of room right now. Fantastic looking it just happened to see your Grow.

Got undercanopys fired up today, day 14 and 15, normally wait till day 21, but at 60 percent, so decided to go a week early, this run I hope will be 100 percent proper, looking great so far, learning crop steering quickly, seems easier to feed at 2.9 ec or 3.0ec versus 2.3 or 2.5 and keep numbers in line. Who would've thought. I was worried about filling canopy, but now worried about keeping in check. The osmotic pressure with high ec restricts water absortion, therefore balancing out nutrient to water uptake, I was having a hell of a time last grow with lower ec keeping stacking consistent. Should have followed all sops for crop steering on first run, but was afraid of feeding at 3.0 ec. Finally starting to understand matric and osmotic stress schedules of crop steering. Different world from normal cannabis feed guidelines. Love learning new stuff!!PXL_20261014_113030461.RAW-01.jpg
