Yes, I agree. Very good job.
To be honest I've been so damn busy ALL my plants have taken a back seat to life..I have had my tents on auto pilot for real..Open up quick.. Watering straight from the hose with well water..I see a slight deficiency I throw a quick handful of dry nutes at em and zip up and go..That being said this Skywalker don't need shit..It almost does that all on its own..Hell these runs this summer I don't even know if they are under or over watered..Turn and burn..That's why I'm keeping Skywalker around despite the weak terps..She's a champ to neglect which isn't something i can say about most

Skywalker OG..What a nice cultivar! Terps are bullshit although finally here at the end she's giving up some OG funk.. Nothing to sell the farm over but a damn nice cut.. Definitely needs to hit the chuck tent a few different ways. Was going to grow it and pass it out the door..Guess she will hit the chucks a few different ways .. Definitely worth looking intoView attachment 250736View attachment 250737View attachment 250738View attachment 250739

reminds me I need to get some starwars themed planters for starwars gear. I have had some very good experience with anything starwars

I know this male don't look like much since I chopped the hell out of it but Woooo weeee I like it Alot... Irie genetics Jack Tripper...(Lemon Skunk x Jack the Ripper).Lots of odor coming off this guy.. Soapy astringent lemon and quite loud.. This dude DEFINITELY seeing the chuck tent eventually..Have some females I'm taking a look at now..Had a few Grapestomper x Kush mints males that I pondered but they all got the scissors todayIMG_20261012_171928477.jpg

Man it seems like to me I have the hardest time finding proper males..I trash Alot of em that's for sure..I don't run fem seeds so I do probably see more than most but sometimes they just really stand out... Found one one the best males I ever seen not long ago( Mac Cherry breath x Garlic breath) I have a chuck wrapping up now where he hit multiple gals..Have a few clones of him chilling too..He's not done doing his work. He will be around for a good while.. I haven't hunted the Pure Michigan f6 or grapesmac yet and he's definitely meeting those two

Hey bud long time!

Can you go over what exactly you look for in a male?
I recall you being big on structure.

Also good to hear about the Jack Tripper, I have some of those in the fridge.

Structure is #1 in my opinion..Tall lanky males pass that trait
Insane stretching plants with lots of space between nodes don't fit my indoor grow style..You can only get the lights so high..#2 Explosive growth and extreme vigor.. Definitely want something that clearly is out preforming every plant in the hunt (including females).. #3 Lots of resin and odor..The male does more work than ppl give credit for..Lots of folks don't seem to understand lots of the phenos will lean towards the male.
#4 This is a personal preference and if it falls into place it's a added bonus..The very last male to show sex in the group
...But to be honest #2 is the main deciding factor that will usually consume my decision..This would be simple with your grow style..There will always be that one plant that is just a major standout in those carpets you build..Well say that plant is a male..Ide snatch him out soon as possible and drop him back in veg..Big standouts produce more standouts.. Of course all these are equally important..I almost refuse to run fems these days..For one i don't want any of that hermie gene .. The only time I had problems with any of my chucks is when I have chucked at S1s. But that's off topic..Choose the obvious standouts from true bred regs and in my opinion you'll be way ahead of the game..Take those stand out f1s and apply the same rules up to f3 gen and find gold 💯. May just be my luck but F3 is the absolute sweet spot in chucking..The f2 gen will show you everything you have to choose from..The f3 gen will show you the gold from your decisions 🤷🤜🤛

@HBZ i have another question regarding the males. One of the breeders tips ive read was saying he likes to use the males that flower the slowest because they tend to produce more stable kin, have you found that to be true too?

Ide like to think that's true..I always aim for those because in my mind it knocks down any chance of the auto flower tendencies that's pollution in my eyes
