In Bloom
In early November I entered a clinical trial for my prostate cancer (the JANX007 trial) at a hospital about 200 miles from home. Without getting too much into the weeds with the background for the need for this post, my plants were due to finish at the end of November and my better half (who stayed home) was tending my grow. The thing is, she was facing a lot at the time as well, health-wise and other serious distractions, and just as they were finishing she forgot to go upstairs for several days and the plants appeared to die just as they were finishing flower. When I came back home a month ago I was in rough shape due to 3 rather intense cytokine reactions (apparently they were expected) and I was dealing with a lot of physical weakness, dizziness, etc which as only now just starting to fade. The whole time the plants are still upstairs in the tent with the fan and lights trudging along.
My plan all along was to use these to made FECO, so flavor isn't a concern. I'm just taking a long-shot to ask if there's any hope of getting anything at all from this trainwreck. I snapped off a small branch to look at more closely to look for mold. I'm not seeing that, but they just look completely dried out. Is it even worth my while to try to rehab these in Grove bags and something like a leaf of lettuce to get the moisture content back to a proper range and process it into oil, or am I kidding myself?
