Satori Seeds

The triploid has started fasciation, "flat stem-itis".
I've had a few plants do this outdoors, this is a 1st indoors tho. Should I just cull it? Does anyone keep these?

I’ve seen this happen with South Indian varieties before, and the buds can come out fat and uniquely shaped. If you have the space, it’s worth keeping just to see how it finishes flowering. In my experience, genetic mutations can sometimes produce exceptionally potent herb.

Here’s an example of Orissa South Indian Fasciated Herb from landrace mafia

Egyptian Heirloom — these were grown from seeds collected from a 2023 breeding project featuring over 32 females with around 24 males.

The mother of these seeds, labeled #11, carried one of the most beautiful peachy rose aromas I’ve encountered, layered with a heavy splash of yeasty funk on the finish. She expressed an extremely open, multi-branched structure combined with a fast flowering time — a true standout specimen.

I’m currently planting more seeds from this line alongside several other choice selections from that season for this year’s new breeding project. If all goes well, I plan to make these available through Great Lakes Genetics later this year 🤞🏼

So far the aromas are expressing peaches and roses with varying degrees of sweetness and funk. A few lean heavily into the floral side, which is absolutely beautiful — incredibly soft, delicate, and refined 🥰
