Yeah i heard about that shit show. I knew it was smelling scammy when they started picking favorites to get their orders first

that whole thing looked like a logistical nightmare. Glad i didnt lose money or sleep over it buy buying in.

I haven't grown any of Tony Green's gear in a long time. My experiences growing it were always good. Indoor and out. My communications with him were great. He was real responsive to me.
I wouldn't hesitate to grow his gear in the future.
Sometimes I think folks have unreasonable expectations.

But what I saw the other day was someone who was completely unwilling to accept any responsibility. If it were only a couple of unhappy people, I could see it being a case of unreasonable expectations, but what I saw were several angry people coming out of the woodwork. With all that smoke, there's gotta be some fire.

I like to come here, Grower’s Network and Overgrow to see people’s grows and try to pickup pointers on growing better. I try to stay far away from drama, that thread was very disappointing all around. I did go in on that buy and was happy with what I received.

Your response is on point @sdoyle . I've never gone in on any group purchases. Not seeds anyway. When I was young I had a couple friends where we'd pool funds for a better price with volume. Same 3 or 4 guys. Only question was "whose turn driving". More often than not it was me. I liked driving. Had its advantages.
398 miles to Albion. 20 minute exchange . 30 max. 398 miles back. Stop longer than 30 minutes and I'd loose my momentum.

@Ohwolfie . Im sure thats why they picked favorites to send to first as well because he knew he wouldn't have enough viable seeds. That being said tho ive grown alot of plants from seed that looked undercooked so maybe they should try germing them before they voiced their problems. Either way im glad drama like that doesn't happen here

It would be hard to pop the ones that crumbled, lol. I mean, everybody here knows what beans should look and feel like. Those pictures were brutal. On the up side, it looks like it's all getting resolved in a group message.

I never wanted anything Tony Green had...so i have no skin in the game.

With the seed ban a month away...i might be stuck before i can get my 11 pack seed order sent.

It would be hard to pop the ones that crumbled, lol. I mean, everybody here knows what beans should look and feel like. Those pictures were brutal. On the up side, it looks like it's all getting resolved in a group message.

I got some of those Sour Bubble seeds in a trade with an OG member one pack. I looked through them the other day and most were fine. No white ones, but some really teeny tiny ones and some that had little cracks on the shell. Those weren't going to germ. I'd say 5 or 6 seeds were like that.

I probably ended up with maybe 15 or so what I would call good seeds. But I didn't pay money for them, so for me it's 15 viable Sour Bubble seeds. Hell yeah. If I paid for them, I'm not expecting any of them to be imperfect though. Unless it's stated beforehand. Otherwise shouldn't they get sorted out? What good is a tube with 25% or more pale seeds?
