I bet most of us here on PH use cannabis daily.
Before this SCOTUS ruling, it would technically be illegal for any of us to own a firearm.
People can say that it shouldn’t happen to the average citizen, but I prefer couldn’t over shouldn’t when it comes to being charged with a crime.

Only if you tell them. I know nothing. I know that is from the Supreme Court, but they did have a guy about six months ago that had a full auto rifle rapid fire I guess would be the title. They let him go and there was another person so it’s going to be a future debate that’s why I don’t get that medical card.

If they thought he was plugged into a global outfit of baddies, maybe they shouldn't have "proceeded" him in his NICS check. People get denied all the time and you don't get to find out why on the spot, you have to sort that out with the Bureau later. Lots of times it's something you can get squared away and get "proceeded" afterward.
The article doesn't say what cause they had for searching his home in '22 that started the whole mess, but to me it's noteworthy that after the search, they apparently didn't have much but this lame shit that ended up in SCOTUS lol.
I'm glad that there's apparently going to be some wiggle room on the subject. I like to plink. And the coyotes lately have been utterly ignoring the terms of a cease fire of long standing, to encroach upon space my pooches roam on when they're outside to do business.

I have my stuff for protection. I haven’t been hunting in a couple years. But I plan to go back this year. They’re not going to go towards the gun companies. They’re not going to let this happen because they will lose money. Something about a guy a few months ago he had a machine gun. They dropped that case so I knew that this was gonna happen sooner or later. Now you can register your. SBR as a rifle it doesn’t cost you anything. You just got to get it engraved and send it in.

Without knowing the facts on that one, to me it just screams Glock switch. You have to have an NFA license to buy or sell an automatic and there's a ton of rules to follow. But some ppl get hold of a Glock switch, they drop it in and leave it thinking there'll be no consequences for it and then they get busted with it.
