What did you do today?

High was 2C today, and it rained and snowed all day long. Supposed to warm up again next week but the Thanksgiving weekend is a write-off for outside stuff.

So I ran into town for a few items. Not sure if I'm agoraphobic, misanthropic, or a combination of both, but fuck human beings. They are all a bunch of selfish, inconsiderate, loud assholes.
I wanted to do this to every other person in Costco:

and this to most of the drivers.

Had enough of the "civilized" world for a while.

I kicked my two 8oz red bulls a day habit around the beginning of the year. I really like them but they've gone up in price to a point that I dont wanna buy them anymore, even at bulk price. I enjoy the effects of a good caffeine bump in cold beverage form tho so I started doing some digging into other beverage options.

Today I tried making my own "charged" lemonade like they used to have at Panera (until a few people over did it on the drink not realizing the caffeine content and exploded their hearts). It was a quarter tsp each of guarana powder and green coffee bean extract powder into the 20oz blender cup with two handfuls of frozen strawberries and some simply lemonade. I used too many strawberries so it was thick, more like a fozen strawberry lemonade icee. Split it halves with my brother and the energy kick was great. I went from wanting a nap to feeling pretty good but not jittery or hot, better than redbull even. Drinking the whole 20 oz at once might be a little strong, def gonna have to regulate.

I'm gonna experiment with this more in other forms but my first impression is pretty good. I think i spent about the same amount as a 24 pack of 8oz redbulls on the ingredients & the powders should last at least a few months at only a quarter tsp each per serving.

Stonerberry Bread got the chop! Very sticky/smelly

I also harvested headband/cap junky....sorry no pics but it was a stinker and both of these are hanging in the garage now.
"Hatband" is taking up more than one line, means the count will be decent :)
Black Tuna monster is next to get the axe :)

Grew some of the Stonerberry Bread last year, good smoke. Love when they get the lean. Although after watching them grow for months it's a little sad.

I still have 11 standing, 1 big plant, rest aren't nearly as big. I'm wondering how they handled the first freeze last night. It's 28f with 97% humidity right now. I did get a good bunch down yesterday. Hope to get a couple more down today after work. There's a couple that need another week or so. The next week looks dry at least, maybe one more cold night into the 30's.

They will be fine. But 28* is a warning number. If I think it's going to be 28 for 2 complete days, I harvest or cover. It takes 2 days at that temp to freeze your trichs.

The forecasted low was 35 got a bit colder than that. Weird that there wasn't even really frost on the ground. I suspect the ground is still warm enough it wouldn't let the frost hit the ground. Stuff about 7 ft up off the ground had light frost. Top of the truck, roof tops, stuff like that.

Back in the guerilla growing days there were more than a few plants that got froze out. Like you said one night of cold wont ruin them. Some plants handle it better than others though. Had a Suicide Blonde this summer that really got pissy when the temps started to get below 50, surprised me.

Took that Black tuna today...freakin beastmode :)

Nice work dude, looks awesome. One of my goals for next year is to give more support for the big plants. Lost a couple this summer from the wind. Not too broke up about it cause I still ended up with too much but they deserve some support when they've blown up into trees.

I started with the stakes when I went to the 45 gallon pots 2 years ago and that's it for me. Tremendous support and I can really open up the plant by angling the stakes outward. I was doing stakes and chicken wire on the outside prior., with losses. The pot's are 18" tall and a 8'-10' plant on top was a bit much to cage, lol. I'm in a happy place with the stakes ;)
