Hell yea
@OldG I was running these Earthboxes probiotic style that I picked up from Alan Adkisson via The Soil King on youtube. Then I tried the method the company suggested with the boxes. That worked for a few grows then I had some bad soil really fungal dominated, it grew mushrooms under the covers lol. While all that was going on I missed the thrips that had come along with the dirt.
So I ripped off the covers layered some new fresh dirt on top and threw on a bunch of microgreen seeds I had around just for something the bugs could eat to get the fuck off my plants. I was running perpetually so I had plants in all stages suffering from my lack of care, bugs, and bad soil. I dont like poison so I decided to just trash what I had left in veg, throw a few of the cuts I had in to seed out and do a reset.
Weeeeeell the pollen I had a friend send didnt take ( suspect it was something I did wrong ) so all the cuts went bye bye not sure the seeds would have been all that good anyway.
Stressed, sick, and bug bit I just called it quits till I could clean and start over. This time around I wanted to go a bit further with the living soil cause the probiotic weed was fantastic. The covers have to stay on with the probiotics to get the fungi really going and I wanted to establish a healthy bug population as well as living soil to combat my bug prob the next time they come.
So thats what you see here a lazy mans living soil sips pot.
All the credit has to go to Build A Soil I didnt think of any of this. They got everything you need plus a chart if you want to follow along with homemade inputs.
