Yoda Fired Up
Man any of the breeders here all drop fire, Mr Frimpong mr hydrored Mr Dino party, Briscos, schwaggy p, all killer breeders and will backup their work
I read his responses to you on OG....good lord, I am somewhat amazed by what I read. My take from that is that you are expected to pop the pack to find a good plant, the statistics, odds or whatever.......that's noise. If 2 plants hermie, planting another 2 or another 200 is not going to change that. What's an acceptable batting average lolJust a quick update, I had to chop down my 2nd and last bubblehead.
On the Tony thread on overgrow I got no solid response.
I was told by tony to plant more than 2 at a time to reduce chances of intersex.... which I thought was idiotic to double down seeing how 2 out of 10 already hermed
But I guess according to tonys "statistics" I would eventually find a keeper... well the saying goes a broken clock is right twice a day.
Which a few other growers chimned in later; one having run 27 seeds of tonys all regs and having half with intersex issues across the 3 strains they tried.
I really want to support american breeders, but I need some stability and not a company who has been throwing out strain after strain with little to no tesing and then blaming it on the genetics...
Does anyone have any suggestions on some solid genetics I can find some decent keepers in? This is probably worthy of a separate thread but I'll ask here as well.
Yeah... I tried to be understanding/reasonable and I tried to ask for advice. I was ignored and not given a real response from Tony when asking what I felt were legitimate questions. He seems like a nice guy so I didn't get on his case about all the bullshit.I read his responses to you on OG....good lord, I am somewhat amazed by what I read. The other thing that he said that I thought was funny was that you are lucky he made good choices or they would be really, really bad......I'm paraphrasing, but that was the gist and apparently the solution? huh? If I didn’t do my due diligence in selecting they’d be really fucked up lol. there ya go.
Buy something else, there is plenty out there in your price range. Take a look around....right here. I don't think there is one breeder here that will tell you hermies are to be expected in their gear and part of the hunting process.
thnaks for your info __ PeaceNot really but i posted what i do recently in the skills and practices section under cloning success...
That's why folks grow females - they are some what stable -- when doing reg's - you are "hunting" for that stable gene , especialy when one get's testers, even tho when the breeder has done his best to "stablize" their strain.I read his responses to you on OG....good lord, I am somewhat amazed by what I read. I have found the opposite to be true. I have found some nice keepers don't get me wrong but have had more issues w fems as of late .That's why folks grow females - they are some what stable -- when doing reg's - you are "hunting" for that stable gene , especialy when one get's testers, even tho when the breeder has done his best to "stablize" their strain.

What? Why would he bring up Amos? Then he shits on @Amos
I know exactly how bad losing plants can set your med harvest back. Maybe you can score a nice gg#4 cut from someone.
Make it three, cause I’d love to try it too haha"Someone" send two please! That was one of "the ones" that went out of the truck cab when I left Michigan. I'd LOVE to get that cut back. I got mine back in 2013. It was supposedly a decendent from the 2 trays batch of cuts Josey used to enter the Clio Cup in 2011 or 12. That was the story anyway. A real stinker that one was.

Likewise brother. ?Dude if I get it, you get it. That's a straight up promise!
Agreed, I love the strain, easily top 5. I've run her as a hermie bag seed and as a clone. But over time and thru stupidity I lost the clone.Lol i sure am glad that joesy had that chem sis cross that hermied and mardogg wasnt afraid to grow out them hermi seeds or we would be without alot of great marijuana...
thanks guy's for setting me straight - neeed to re- think - learn something new each day !!!!!I find the opposite is true also.
Oh same here man brother and you could have easily had the opposite experience. This is another reason I love this place. We can all learn something from all our experiences. Strength in numbersthanks guy's for setting me straight - neeed to re- think - learn something new each day !!!!!
