If you're confident about your germ methods, germ them all! When preserving a line it's generally best to have the largest number of plants possible so the strongest ones can be crossed.
Thanks, that's a sound idea. I accept your reasoning so, all 10 it is! I'll just pollenate a few mid level branches per plant. I'm still running my first PR of Nepal Highland #3 and, we are gonna have beans, lotsa beans! Ran all 6 males with 13 females, Full pollen. So for a smoke test, I'll be smoking scuff :slapping:. Having my working number cut in half [from 20] should allow me a decent amount of room to work.
Another possibility would be, vegging longer, taking cuttings of each and if my cutting take easily, then I could run full pollen. A plan within a plan!

Awesome, I'm in!

@Keif Lint passes me some beans, I've got the cuts vegging and need to get my ass into gear this winter on the 'southern chapter' preservation run.

Good luck on those little fatties!
Thanx man,
Hope your run does well too. I've been dancing around these beans for a few years before snapping them up. Lots of anticipation! It's on!!!

That's a really good idea. Deep Chunk can be fickle and bizarre, so cloning ability/strength is a potential breeding indicator.

I'm not real happy with these seeds, they don't have any jump to them at all. Some beans take longer than others and so, we wait. All 10 in 2x2 pots with a light organic potting mix. My method works for me at a 95% germination rate on almost any strain and so I'm rather certain it's not me. Usually have everybody above the soil line by now. Don't Panic!
