Frim Daddy - I've never grown indoors, or kept a cutting long term. It kind of interests me, but would have to be small scale. Is the following video about the plant size of what you're dealing with, or are we talking much bigger. Just kind of shopping ideas around in my head atm...

How I Keep My Mother Plants Manageable

I mainly grow outside, but last year I started using an indoor setup to get seedlings started, and the learning curve at least for me, was in how much to turn up the light; I discovered at the cost of Motor Breath seedlings that Motor Breath does NOT like an actual grow light you'd normally use for growing the plants out, which is why I generally in my grow journal refer to "The shitty light" because everything else burns it. Like legit one of the leaves on my Motor Breath seedling is yellow from light burn because it sprouted in the tent LOL. I swear you could start that strain with a Flashlight and it probably wouldn't even stretch.... But some strains take to light a little different is what I've learned so far.

To put this into perspective; Every other plant was stretching even though they were right under the light, while a Motor Breath seedling was growing away from it sideways dying and it was the furthest it could be from the light. So one thing I've had to do with indoor is learning when to turn a light up. I now just start it at a "let's try it" level of brightness, and then when I see stretching going on, I turn it up a bit each day until it stops stretching. The stretching isn't a big deal for me as I just bury them up to the neck in soil and let the stem root too, so it's usually fine, but fine tuning the light to keep a plant going would be a step to consider in my experience.

Last year I didn't have a tent to start them inside, so I used a metal rack style shelf and hung the light from the top, and then draped a towel around the whole thing to try and not have it look so bright in there. Worked out good but the little tent we have now works a LOT better.

I too am starting to think about long term storage so I've already had some of this rolling around in my head for a bit, and so far I've been considering things like the light of course, and keeping the plant in Veg (I run my light 14 hours on, and 10 off, mainly because I'm trying to keep room in there for all of them) but that's a personal preference thing more than requirement.

I don't personally feel like you'd need a huge tent if you're trying to store a single Mother plant; Once it starts to outgrow it's tent, pull clones, or simply toss them if you don't have room. My thoughts on that are basically "I need to keep this alive, and in Veg, and capable of fitting inside this tent the whole time" and cut accordingly.

I guess the size of the tent would be based on how many plants you actually want to keep, as you can trim branches back to keep it fitting in there, but dialing in the exact amount of light is for sure something I had to figure out; At the cost of Motor Breath seeds that got crispy when they were in the tent..... Odd strain, and it's the ONLY one that does that, but if you see it leaning sideways away from the light with no stem stretch then it's probably that.

A small tent would work fine, but let's be honest By the time one plant is Vegging in there another pheno pops up that makes your knees wobble when you smell it and now you're online looking for another one.... LOL. The struggle is real brother :)

Rinse and repeat been working for me for years. But if I did this commercially I definitely would have mothers ?

Watermelon Delight went outside for a shower, got buck'd nekkid, and posed wobbly like a drunk model for some glamour shots on her big day.
She went 70, and got chopped to her bottom buds and roots for a reveg. Now comes the hard part, waiting for her to dry down to cure (lol right) and smoke...

Yeah thats the wmd male you are running. But most of them end up looking like the Platinum Punch remix .Those should be good. Unfortunately I had to scrap that WMD line though like I said He didn't play well with my cuts unfortunately. Yeah this is the cross with the Pure Michigan F2 DaddyFatStacks.
