Some Blueberry Muffin crosses

I figure while I wait for my first seed run to ripen up & finish, I'll pop some chucks my buddy made with a Blueberry Muffin male, onto various females.

I've also been wanting to try this method of popping seeds as well. I took a 6-cell tray & stuffed each cell decently tight with coco, literally just soaked it with tap water & dropped the seeds. No pH'ing, no additives or cal-mag ---- once I get sprouts, I start with a diluted "root boosting" veg formula.

And Bob's your uncle!! 🤘 I'll just leave it alone in my existing 2x2 veg tent, and just pop the lid for fresh air once a day.

Finally getting some nice variety & some really unique stuff; on the left are two "Glitter Trike" testers by Budderton, bottom right is a PBB S1 from 3Thirteen, and back right is Archive Slurricane, which itself is unique because the Slurricane everyone has is InHouse. And now these BBM chucks one of which I already know is absolutely fire 🔥

FULL DISCLOSURE: Not 100% sure if I'll take this journal all the way, but let's all just have some Muffins in the meantime anyways 😉👍👍

So far, without intervening, four and a half of six are up. Not too shabby 🤷🏻‍♂️ I'm only popping the lid off once a day for fresh air & I think I skipped doing that at least once. I wonder how long I can run these seedlings in this tray. . . let's find out!

At the end of the day, I got 3 out of 6 to come up. Not great. So next time around I'll buffer and maybe probably pH adjust the water I use to soak the coco.

Pretty much just gonna end this one and try again with my own cross or my own F2.

I'll offer up that I think they might be too wet. YMMV but I only put a lid on clones, never for seedlings. One has roots and does not need the humidity. Try next round without the lid.

The humidity is quite low in the 2x2 so I always have to dome-up my seeds and cuts for rooting. Otherwise the coco dries up too quickly. But, you could still be right in that I did re-mist the dome each time I opened it which probably kept conditions too wet? 🤷‍♂️ also, each cell is MUCH smaller than a solo cup half full of coco so I need to consider that too. . ...

Yeah I soak my seeds once they sink toss them in the paper towel in a plastic box tht sits on a warm heating pad ,24 to 48 hrs the tails pop and I stick them into the 6 pack cube cylinders like yours topped of with Ocean Forest potting soil, Drop the seeds and give the soil a good misting with reg water .I stick them under 2 cfl bulbs and wait ,ever day I ll mist not to let the soil dry same when the seeds pop .. I ve had a 90 plus germination rate doing it this way for years.. I wish u still had some BBM pollen..I have a great BBM female I found through reg seeds 3 yrs back. I cloned her and I have 2 mom plants . Is the BBM u have the on with Razzleberry x PPD ??? Mine s the Blueberry version and she stinks of BB in veg ,I love this strain..
