If I had the Mad Skills to keep a seedling like that alive, I'd be charging for lessons.

Not going to put the coldframe panels up until after first frost, doesn't look like that will be for another couple weeks yet.

@JL2G chopped ppp too early and didn't put it in water so I didn't get enough pollen to scrape into a vial. Tried a branch pollination of gw x cnc, looks like it may have taken. What I should have done probably was swipe it up onto swabs.

Got the main light down, going to remove a few of the warmer white leds (icr 4k, 5k?) and replace with a couple 2700K. Each of the hlg 600 drivers will run 12 cobs ~50W/ea.

Looks like Cree figured out a way to bump cri, keep luminous flux up and price down with the Pro9 series?

I'll be getting 7 of those for the new 14 cob rig that will go over the 2x4, the old one will go into the tent to replace the failed panels. For now I'll leave the driver on it (it was buzzing real loud at the end of last run but is quiet now??) which will allow me to reuse the two 320s on the current big light for the new 14 cob rig. The 185 will get pushed over to veg and run low, freeing up that 60W driver for a single cob ufo that will go in the shed.

Also going to slide the rails together on the big light so I can actually walk around the 3x3.

Hopefully nothing your plants won't recover from. I can't imagine early frosts are unusual at your elevation.

We had a frost warning Thursday night but didn't quite get there. I wouldn't be surprised if my old home town in the foothills got it though.

Gonna be 80 here this week :)
It'll be 27C here today, doesn't mean the nights don't get chilly.
Up in the sky where Daniel lives, the atmosphere is thin and the cloud cover is minimal so heat isn't retained and the daily temp swings are way bigger than lower places. I grew up at a decent elevation, but nothing like the CO boys, and saw a milder version of this.

We've had some cool night time temps here, but nothing crazy so far. That usually happens in mid October, sometimes later. I have a plant that looks like it might be ready so now I'm switching gears to "where do I hang this for now" lol.

Man that's odd though how elevation works; my area is fairly flat and the only mountain I've been on is Montreal.

Oh it was close to 80 when I got down off the pass. Pass is at almost 12000 ft.
Day before we were wheeling up that high on the mountains edge, barely a road. Lol

We've have some huge swings in daytime nighttime temps. 75 ish daytime up where I was, and 32 at night the first night, 34 the second, and a warm 43 on the third. Lol.

Mines a 95 and runs like a champ. She's in pretty good shape for her age, and she rides like new with the shock upgrades I did recent. Was always a dream truck of mine as a kid too, had her for 15 yrs now.
The LC is like a mountain goat on the trails. Just goes n goes easy peasy cruising. Lol

I saw the Lexus version a couple days ago where they were shooting a commercial for it View attachment 180748
Love the Cruisers.
My buddy in HR has an 05'? LX 560? 470? IIRC he said the Toyota was not gonna offer a V8 but the Lexus does? He's actually in line to get a grenadier
But probably won't keep it, thinks he can drive it for a bit then sell it for more then get the Lexus. I like the land Cruisers myself, fit in the old ones, not the new fj or sequoia tho. I'd probably trade my truck for one if I fit.
