I'm thinking the coffee filter doesn't allow the taproot to grow into it like what sometimes happens when using paper towels. I try to use the thinnest ones possible but they still manage to grow into the fibers and I have to be extra careful not to rip it trying to free it up. Just my two cents.

That's the reason I use coffee filters. I had them stick once and read coffee filters eliminated that and it hasn't happened since.

Ok that makes sense. I don’t normally use the paper towel method because of that very reason. I may give this a try next go around. Thanks for the info

I keep going back and looking at this list. I’m definitely gonna have some of these in my life when they release. The first 3 have me so damn antsy for them to drop

That horrible cheap paper towel that is used at gas stations is AWESOME to soak beans...nothing soaks into that stuff and the roots dont stick

Yep the brown ones are the best I ever used (in my limited experience) They are like super thin cardboard lol.

Hit them both just to be safe. Sometimes the treasure is hiding in the recessives you can't see but are in the genes.
