OK i'm all mailed out for the addy's that I have still one or two out there. I think it's somewhere north of 35 that went out so far.
These are all coming in birthday cards in the regular mail. Using an old tried and true system of a rubber washer in a coin flip. So, there is no tracking on them as such. But I got friends in other countries and here too and we trade back and forth. The posties get vicious at the border with the shipping price. Often you'll see "US members only" on a contest and I wanted to show a working alternative to that. Advantages are cost. This might not work for retailers who need proof of delivery but amongst ourselves it will.
So that's cost saving, but there is a security saving also. No need to go to the physical post office, no need to perjure customs forms, and in most countries while packages are searchable...........letters are not.
1) Half-Dollar 2x2 coin flips ( I prefer the self stick as opposed to picking up seeds off the floor when stapling ) :)
2) 3/4" rubber hose washers
3) Some cheapo greeting cards
4) Stamp........the international stamp is only $1.20

You can still put the breeder packs in, but the centerfuge tubes are the issue. A letter can only be 4mm, and drop boxes limit you to close to that thickness.

Here's a 5" x 7" card......these can hold 6 coinflips and ship on a single stamp. Might be able to fit 100 beans depending on seed size. ;) This one has a pack with a flip and another flip taped under. I can also get two packs in if I turn them around. mailbeans.jpg

I hope the postman continues on in his current manor.......I have yet to have any seeds damaged or any mail lost using this method and that's both here and abroad. So let's get those trades going......worldwide ! :)

I totally get it man. I got one here for you whenever you're ready!
Ya after living in ca for so many years I still don't really think about the law's here until I really think about it..if that makes sense..

My mind just doesn't think that there's a problem with any of this..But in this State it's still a problem....
I seen the Contest so I jumped in thinking what the hell.. I could use some beans as always....

But ..
Let's be Real
I just burned 62 plants a few weeks ago, so..

Even though it's not breaking the law to mail or send beans, like I told Frim I just don't want anything coming here for a few....

I was going to say you could mail mine to someone else, but you mailed them fast. So then when I seen the list of people who has not got them, I was going to say just send them to bo, or gmc cause they were on the list .. or just hold on for a few months..

As a bogan Aussie probably closer to Antartica than you guys across the big lake thanks very much mate for allowing internationals to enter . Would be great to see better access to select breeders abroad . Was disappointing to see DCSeedexchange recently stop shipping to Oz . I donโ€™t blame them though , unfortunately a couple scamming dickheads always manage to ruin it for everyone . I guess itโ€™s something tough to entirely eliminate .

Hopefully mine don't fry in the postal workers truck. She's been coming about 6 hours later than usual and has no ac in her jeep the poor lady! It's gonna be a hot one tomorrow. I'm sure they'll be fine and In my mailbox tomorrow or Friday. I'll be running them with a bunch of other strains from everybody who gifted me recently. Its going to be an epic fall/ winter run with over a dozen different strains.

You'll be ok. I've heard from several that got theirs yesterday and I think today and tomorrow will be prime delivery days.

I noticed my mail gets here fairly early now and it's because they put an amazon delivery hub fairly close by. My mail was always 5ish pm and now closer to 2ish.
