OK i'm all mailed out for the addy's that I have still one or two out there. I think it's somewhere north of 35 that went out so far.
These are all coming in birthday cards in the regular mail. Using an old tried and true system of a rubber washer in a coin flip. So, there is no tracking on them as such. But I got friends in other countries and here too and we trade back and forth. The posties get vicious at the border with the shipping price. Often you'll see "US members only" on a contest and I wanted to show a working alternative to that. Advantages are cost. This might not work for retailers who need proof of delivery but amongst ourselves it will.
So that's cost saving, but there is a security saving also. No need to go to the physical post office, no need to perjure customs forms, and in most countries while packages are searchable...........letters are not.
1) Half-Dollar 2x2 coin flips ( I prefer the self stick as opposed to picking up seeds off the floor when stapling )
2) 3/4" rubber hose washers
3) Some cheapo greeting cards
4) Stamp........the international stamp is only $1.20
You can still put the breeder packs in, but the centerfuge tubes are the issue. A letter can only be 4mm, and drop boxes limit you to close to that thickness.
Here's a 5" x 7" card......these can hold 6 coinflips and ship on a single stamp. Might be able to fit 100 beans depending on seed size.
This one has a pack with a flip and another flip taped under. I can also get two packs in if I turn them around.

I hope the postman continues on in his current manor.......I have yet to have any seeds damaged or any mail lost using this method and that's both here and abroad. So let's get those trades going......worldwide !
