Except for seedlings and cloning all I use is a super soil. My ROLS, all organic stuff.
It's what I used for the comp then. Was doing pretty decently til I ended up fighting some root rot. Due to the 2x daily watering needs I made a sip system to handle the watering. It however kept things too wet etc and fouled up my whole plan. Lol. Really got to learn some neat stuff out of that grow though.
Had some issues I'd never had before so got to learn some new fix it shit.

Golden advice from the master. No I certainly will not grow herms now that I have options XD. Should I be crossing strains with only similar traits you think? What I have for small males(clones) is a small grow box and 4 cfl bulbs. I plan on blooming the male clones while keeping them small. Please correct me if im wrong but it just takes a tiny smidgen of pollen to pollinate multiple plants so I'm not looking for alot of it. Maybe I can also keep a good and vigorous one growing at all times. The very thought of keeping mother and father plants alive post harvest is kind of overwhelming though. I really do need extra space.

dont get us wrong, there is one strain that was shim , we kept around for long time , DJ Shorts Flo (was Fem seed), but she would shim at week 5-6 , and flowers are done at 7 as advertised, but was more like 8 , but still was fire, tried crossing it/shim but beans were full blown shims... that smoke was as exactly as advertised, Nepalese Temple Hash , the most distinct smoke ever tasted/smelled...Dank AF

Here's a few pics of the solo comp plant you asked for. Lol.
She gave me about a half oz I think it was.

The silver thing is the sip watering system, was a good idea, but it got me some root rot that fucked me up for a little while. Lol.
My first ever root rot in the middle of a comp. Lol

Mail order super soil is not cheap, that's for sure. Too heavy. Lol.
I've made all of my soil over the yrs, a couple hundred gallons of it is about where I'm at.
I bought all the ingredients locally here in D town or surrounding areas. Lowes and or depot don't carry super soil. But they do carry alot of the base ingredients.
It's an ever-growing batch of soil. Lol.
Every plant grown is recycled back into the mix, some reammending, and the soil sits for awhile to be reused.
All of my plants are in one version or another of my organic mix.

@Evergreen posted up a really good recipe for super soil in the organic section. I took his large recipe and scaled it down to a small batch amount. All the items used should be easily and fairly inexpensive to gather.

9 days into bloom and I figure I'll reveg the male I discovered then thereafter turn it into clones. The rooted female clippings will just need to chill in water on bloom time until I can free up space in my other smaller box.

Thanks. I know I'm in over my head but the area I live in can't ever get enough humidity. The overcrowded environment in the tent will sustain some needed humidity I think.

That's what helped my RH immensly too. Lol.
It's super friggin dry here most of the year.
Where your at its gotta be worse though.
