Bahlki

They're definitely catching their stride. They've all doubled in size in just a few days. Very little vertical growth, they're super stout. Should make some good breeding stock for reigning in those wilder strains.

3 have nearly identical structure, but the front right has super purple stems, and is the only one with that trait. Back left basically trained itself. Grew sideways sorta and now a couple of the side branches are starting to catch up to the main stem.

The nose on them all is really interesting. It's something I'm starting to attribute to landraces because it reminds me of the Swazi Burmese as well. Kind of an incense/woody smell. Or like the general ambience of a spice market. Its been a revelation growing some of these landraces because it makes you realize how much got lost when more prevelant landraces like the Afghans and Colombians started getting crossed into absolutely everything. It's just not a stem rub you get much in modern crosses in my experience.

The old strains have the magic!

It's been a big help. Still have a few gnats emerging from the holes in the bottom of the pots but it's way less than it could've been. I think next go around I'm gonna line the bottoms of the pots with landscaping mat as well.
yep ?? I think I told u I am doing a sand , de and pelite mix that has worked well for a while now. Sand workd better than I thought I just had to water very slowly.

Day 25 of veg (few days ago) ... I'm really digging this plant. She's stout with excellent node spacing and a super unique, loud AF stem rub. They've barely needed water and are still running on just the Coast of Maine Stonington blend I planted them, no additional nutrients. And they're actually such light feeders they seem to have a slight N toxicity. But overall, these plants are just taking care of themselves so far.

Also, we're already seeing some signs of sex! One definite female (who happens to be the largest, most vigorous plant) and two I'm leaning towards being male. One I can't even guess at yet. 20210930_185717.jpg20210930_185758.jpg20210930_185901.jpg20210930_185840.jpg20210930_185853.jpg

Bahlki got flipped today. That's 36 days in veg, but they've all been clearly showing sex for at least a week. Forgot to bring my phone down so I didn't get a picture but I'll try and get a visual update tomorrow. The girl is beating out. I don't think I've seen a strain before where the female so clearly outgrew all of the males.
