You would like the Tashkurgan then. I over-hit, coughed, jumped up and did the dishes....
Also Bodhi's Tranquil Elephantizer rm v2 is awsome for pain without the couch lock. Last time I smoked the Tranquil elephantizer I felt so good, I jumped up, ran outside and tripped over my own feet. Ouch! I went back inside trying to remember I'm not 20 anymore and went back to trimming bud. Then I thought "why not?" smoked some more of the T. E.. The pain in my arm, from falling down, went away and didn't come back! Thank you Bodhi!
I have a few Tranquil Elephantizer crosses from Useful actually. Ran the Tranquil Chocolate and the high was great but the plant struggled and my yield wasnt very good. May have to give it another shot. Think I have a Tranquil Elephantizer x Power Malawi from him as well. Have to check the vault!

You didn't already have every episode downloaded onto your computer? Casual.
I used to have every episode bootlegged onto playable DVDs! There was a guy who had a website where he had collected and archived every episode ever and you could download them and reformat them to an ISO to play in an American DVD player, but it took FOREVER. I lost them after college, and by then I was too lazy to go through the hassle again lol

Awesome preservation run @Gentlemancorpse, thank you for you contribution to the community. Any smoke report??
Yeah! I didn't have a ton to sample but I did spin up a couple bones. Even with a less than ideal dry and cure it's pretty nice. The flavor was earthy lime, hint of black pepper. High definitely wasn't as strong as more modern strains but was nice, mildly sedative and relaxing.

Dude, I've had that entire collection for years! It's one of my favorite shows, it actually got me into cooking in fine dining professionally in a past life. It's so much better than the American one.

Oh for sure. I was so excited when the American version came out, then so dissapointed when I watched it. I came around eventually, but it still never hit like the original.

I made the same face when I saw this thread. Excited to have these preserved!

Sakai was generally my favorite, I've always had a soft spot for nouvelle cuisine. Chen was cool too, so many of his dishes looked amazing.

(food nerd link here: What is Nouvelle Cuisine and is it still Relevant?)

Chen was definitely my favorite! Only one of the original Iron Chefs to stay throughout the series entire run. Sakai was pretty awesome as well. And then Morimoto was great once he joined but that's when they started that weird "storyline" with the traditional Japanese chef association sending chefs to cook against Morimoto and it distracted from the cooking a bit.

But it is wild to re-watch the Morimoto episodes and see how many things he makes that seem almost common place now but absolutely blew people's minds at the time. Like, the commentators made such a big deal about him drinking Coca Cola or using Ketchup back then when now both are ubiquitous in Japan
