What is the best mango strain you have grown/smoked?
Looking for strong mango terps and flavors.

my personal choice is mango tango (the true og x (tangie x peaches) from elemental seeds. strong mango nose that on the keepers carrie’s through big time to flavor.

Best one i ever had was Iraqi x Mango Biche from bodhi a few years back. Maybe it was mango biche x Iraqi. either way it smelled like super farty mango candy and it was pretty dope. I think I had one herm on me and it didnt get released, but damn it was awesome. sorry this is probably 0 help.

Afghani Mango. From all I know it was an Ohio strain. Clone only. I got it through my old boss who received it from some heads leaving Meigs Country Ohio for Northern California. I was gifted many cuts through that job but that plant I grew for nearly a decade. It was one of 4 strains that got tossed from the cab of my moving truck before crossing the state line. As much as I wanted to keep them, I couldn't risk losing all my shit for four small mothers.

Anyhow, she was a winner. One out of a thousand I'd say, Vegged well, cloned well, ate well and flowered some amazingly trouble free and large buds. It had it all from a gardeners standpoint. Could be taken at 68 but would go 75 if you were lazy.

The guy I passed it on to, ironically, just passed on.. RIP Ed. He gave it to his son who lets just be nice and say "wasn't the brightest", I'd be surprised, very surprised if he didn't give it the axe to make space for some BS, flash in the pan, purple strain. I've thought about making the HUGE trip back to see if I could retrieve it, I lost his number and Ed's dead so.... I go without.

I'd give my left nut to get that girl back. She was the real deal. A gardeners wet dream.

I grew a Mango Saphire from HSO that was stupid frosty and tasty. Unfortunately they're unavailable due to something..(anyone know what happened to HSO?) Anyhow, I have maybe the last two seeds there are other than them. One day Im gonna reverse one of them.

I have a friend that will gift me a bag from from time to time. He had one last year that was straight ripe mangos. It’s the only thing mango terped I’ve ever smoked. his plug said it was Ghost Train Haze. ?‍♂️

Interesting, I've had Ghost Train Haze (from dispensaries) but it was always more tropical fruit from what I recall.

I was eating a bag of dried mangoes from the Philippines and that really cannabis terpy flavor hit on one of the pieces - it triggered my primal instinct for mango smoke.

HSO was part of the Dinafem company and for whatever reason the Spanish government shut them down. Its an on going legal battle but sadly I think damage is done and those old strains will never come back.
