Best Ph for coco

Could it have been your nutrients?

When I started using coco,I was already using Maxibloom start to finish. I tried the lower range, issues would pop up here and there,be it ph,nutritional or environmental. The Osmocote was experiment...I couldnt believe it until I did it myself. Once,I adjusted the range(in coco) my "issues" seem to cease.

I'll add. We know all coco definitely isn't created equal, but once you dial in the coco of your choice,it's a very nice substrate with great results.

BTW,wassup Dope?! Glad to see you bro.

Doing good, yourself Cob?
I've used the Maxibloom Kiss method of Lucas formula in coco with epsom salts and my results were not up to my liking. The flora series in Lucas blows it out the water, for me at least.
I probably should have used Calcium Nitrate instead of Epsom salts in coco, because Calcium is the real problem in Coco, plus the extra nitrogen probably wouldnt hurt.
I didn't pay as much attention to ph at the time.
I've moved on to MegaCrop with a few additions, but I'm not sold on it yet and the price difference is like an ounce of weed.
I should just mix my own.

I used the claw of a hammer to break it up. Mess wasn’t TOO bad but the process is annoying.

Had some fungas gnats and I just sprayed top of coco with 3% peroxide followed by a little water to further dilute it and then sprinkled D.E. on top. Killed the 2-3 mature gnats and I didn’t see them suckers again. Good circulation is key.
Good deal there man. I'm a fan of the uses of h2o2 myself too.

A funny thing about PH...usually when i mix my nutes for coco and get it to 700 to 1000 TDS it will always be PH 5.6 to 5.8 (AN trio)

MC will come in a little higher in PH (when compared to the TDS) but still within range. I have a giant sack of MC still and continue to use it through veg on all coco pots and through transition and then i shift to AN (to use up MC)

This is what i have observed over the last 4 to 6 months of using AN trio. Its pricy (cheaper in 1 gallon bottles) but the shit works great.

I use the same nute strength for coco pots and water systems (make a 5 gallon water bottle and start feeding everything, pour the leftovers in a water system).

This is so rambling i realized i have smoked no joints yet...My poor mind. time for some Pig Whistle (soooo eeeeee)

Ya MC didn't drop pH quite as much as other, I've noticed that too. Then it's not all that stable either do you go through a ton pH down keeping a res in check lol.

@Capt. C I hit the little bastards with that mosquito killer. Gonna dose once a week until they're gone. This stuff is just another strain of bacillus bacteria. I like letting beneficial bacteria do the dirty work for me. And I see what you mean, 2ml per g seems like an awful lot, I went with 10 drops per.

I am sure you know but @HydroRed warned me about washing hands thoroughly after using this product. I also set a yellow sticky at the soil level and larger ones surrounding the garden. I have used 10 drops per gallon on a regular basis so you can probably go higher but i don't see the need. That strength was plenty to kill the larvae. Good luck i hope you kill the crap out of them fury little basterds. ?

Ya def wash the hands. Between the sticky traps and h2o2 I was seeing a lot less adults so this should knock them out. Thanks again for showing me this product, it's right up my alley.
